🔐 Device Enrollment Made Simple: Intune + Entra ID + AD DS Many organizations today run a hybrid identity environment—on‑prem Active Directory with cloud‑based management. Understanding how device enrollment works across these layers is key to secure and scalable IT operations. ✅ On‑prem AD DS – Manages traditional domain‑joined devices ✅ Entra ID (Azure AD) – Cloud identity and access management – Synced with AD DS using Azure AD Connect ✅ Microsoft Intune – Modern device & endpoint management (MDM) – Applies security baselines, compliance, and policies 🔄 How it works: 1️⃣ Devices join on‑prem AD DS 2️⃣ Users & devices sync to Entra ID 3️⃣ Devices become Hybrid Azure AD Joined 4️⃣ Intune auto‑enrollment enables cloud‑based management 📌 Result: One identity, one device, managed securely across on‑prem + cloud. This approach helps organizations: ✔ Maintain legacy workloads ✔ Enable modern security (MFA, Conditional Access) ✔ Gradually transition to cloud‑native management 📈 Best practice: Start with Hybrid Azure AD Join + Intune, and move new devices toward Azure AD Join + Autopilot. Happy to discuss real‑world implementation, challenges, or migration strategies. #MicrosoftIntune #EntraID #AzureAD #ActiveDirectory #EndpointManagement #HybridCloud #ITInfrastructure #WindowsManagement #M365

🚀 From ITSM Governance to Practical Azure Execution My foundation has always been in IT Service Management and governance — driving structured operations and service stability. Recently, I had the opportunity to translate that governance mindset into hands-on Azure implementation within a hybrid environment. Together with Mayur Anandache, we: ✅ Piloted and validated a Storage Sense Intune policy for Hybrid devices ✅ Successfully rolled it out across all Hybrid Azure AD joined devices in the environment This involved working with: Dynamic Azure AD device groups Designing dynamic membership rules using device trust type attributes for hybrid environments Hybrid identity (Azure AD + on-prem joined devices) Intune configuration assignments and compliance validation For me, this was more than just a policy rollout — it was a practical step in strengthening my hybrid cloud understanding. It reaffirmed an important principle: 👉 Governance becomes powerful when backed by technical clarity. Grateful to Mayur for the collaboration and knowledge exchange. Continuing to bridge ITSM, Azure governance, and real-world cloud execution. This experience strengthened my belief that cloud governance is not just documentation — it’s identity design, device posture, and policy enforcement at scale. Process + Platform = Real control. #Azure #Intune #HybridCloud #ITSM #CloudGovernance #ContinuousLearning

Stop "migrating" to Intune. Start modernizing. 🚀 Most teams treat an Intune migration like a server move. In 2026, that’s a mistake. If you’re still trying to "lift and shift" 15-year-old GPOs into the cloud, you’re just moving the mess to a more expensive closet. The 3 "Must-Dos" for a 2026 Migration: 1️⃣ Kill the Local Admin: With Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) now bundled in most E3/E5 plans, there is zero excuse for users to have full local admin rights. Migrate to "Elevation on Request." 2️⃣ Clean the GPO Attic: Use Group Policy Analytics to see what actually matters. If it doesn't support a Zero Trust posture, leave it in the past. 3️⃣ Prepare for the "AI Agent" Era: Intune is no longer just for updates. It’s the foundation for Security Copilot. If your device health isn't visible in Intune, your AI won't have the data it needs to protect you. The big milestone to watch: July 1, 2026. Global pricing updates are coming. If you haven't consolidated your third-party tools (Jamf, Workspace ONE) into the Intune Suite by then, you're leaving money on the table. Who else is going "Cloud-Native Only" this year? Let's discuss in the comments. 👇 #MSIntune #Microsoft365 #ModernManagement #SysAdmin #CloudSecurity

Are you tired of getting sticker shock from your Azure bills each month? Here's the reality: moving to the cloud promises efficiency and cost savings, but many organisations find themselves drowning in unexpected expenses and manual management tasks when they migrate to Azure Virtual Desktop or Windows 365. In our recent conversation with Hydra, they highlighted how they're solving this exact challenge. While platforms like AVD offer incredible potential, the native Microsoft tools often leave gaps in image management, host and pool optimisation that other mature platforms handle more elegantly. What impressed me most was Hydra's approach to cost optimisation. They're not just talking about turning machines on and off - they're providing advanced auto-scaling, intelligent instance sizing, dynamic disk type changes, and hibernation features that deliver hard dollar savings on your Azure infrastructure spend. But here's the kicker: it's not just about the technical optimisation. What would typically require hundreds of hours of manual, tedious work can now be accomplished with a couple of clicks through Hydra's intuitive platform. That's real operational savings that impacts your team's productivity and sanity. The most compelling part? This isn't theoretical - it's backed by customer interviews, evaluations, and reference case studies showing measurable results. What's been your experience with cloud cost management? Are you seeing the savings you expected when you moved to the cloud, or are those monthly bills still catching you off guard? #CloudServices #ITManagement #DigitalTransformation
