Most emails have serious accessibility issues, report says

This title was summarized by AI from the post below.

How accessible are our email clients? They're not. The Email Markup Consortium analyzed 443,585 emails and found that 99.89% contain "serious" or "critical" accessibility issues. It also evaluated 44 major email clients; only one (SFR Mail) "supports all HTML and CSS accessibility features". This report is more for developers and doesn't tell me, a user, what I can do. But it's an issue I hadn't thought about before and gives us lots to think about. https://lnkd.in/gcNNeA8V #AmLearning #Accessibility #FoodForThought

Wow, I had no idea email clients were so bad at accessibility. I think this shows that tech companies are still not having conversations about accessibility when they should be – at the requirements stage.
