I AM ALWAYS GRATEFUL I learned gratitude and its power at a young age, instilled by altruistic parents. Life just seems to be better with a grateful mindset. I am grateful for all the support given to my book launch this week! It has been an exciting and chaotic time. I promise I'll return to posting LinkedIn Tips this week. That said, it has been interesting to realize that I will now be promoting both of my passions - LinkedIn and networking. They go hand-in-hand, really, and I'm all about both topics, now seeking podcast guest spots and speaking engagements. There is a need for learning how to network effectively and not be afraid of meeting new people. AND to understand how people you meet can appear later in life and make an impact on you and your career. Teaching should start early - some of my stories were pulled from many, many years ago. My hope is that readers of my book will learn strategies they can implement immediately. Please pay attention, too, if attending conferences is in your schedule! On Thursday, I managed to attend two awesome events, hosted by the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce (breakfast networking,) and Networking To Help Children (to benefit Delmar Farm Sanctuary in Wellington). Both were well attended, and a shoutout to Dana Ray, who won the first copy of my book as a door prize at NTHC!
