Danielle Balestra’s Post

Last week, I sat down with Kerry Anne Hoffman and Christine Alemany at the NYC Marketing Ops Community event to discuss how to create boundaries with your peers in marketing and sales. Too often, the marketing ops team is asked to “do this one thing,” but really, it is that one thing that is too much with the current workload. Kerry and Christine provided great approaches, such as: ·      Ensuring goals and priorities are set and communicated to leadership and colleagues ·      Potentially measuring time to complete the tasks, so leaders understand how much effort goes into completing the tasks ·      And so much more The conversation was intimate, and we did go off track to discuss topics such as building trust with customers and staff. Feedback from all was that they loved the format and felt they left with practical knowledge. Thank you again to Kerry and Christine for leading such an insightful conversation, and Prasid Pathak, Michael Berean for helping put together this great event.

OMG, I love both glasses ( I got a thing for the frames that look just right - and both of these are it! 😍 )
