When coaching neurodivergent individuals, the way we communicate can either open doors or build barriers. At UACC, we are proud to be developing a new coaching and mentoring framework designed to make every session tailor-made, empathetic, and impactful, ensuring every individual is supported in the way that best suits their strengths and needs. Thank you Nancy Alhyari and for inviting me and discussing such an important conversation. 🎧 Listen to the full episode on our YouTube channel - UACC Channel. Have you considered becoming a coach or learn the skills of coaching? I have failed to understand what coaching is and feels like until I experienced it!! Does that resonate? I decided to change my career once I experienced it. Why? Because, my coach partnered with me in a way that I managed to turn my life around 180 degrees. It was powerful then and I still find it incredibly effective. That's why I still have a coach. Come and join me at the International Coaching Week this year starting on Monday 11th May. I am doing a demo using the strength approach and would love to connect with you then. See the details in the post below.
Most people don’t struggle with coaching because they lack skill. They struggle because they’ve never actually experienced what coaching looks like in practice. Reading about coaching is one thing. Understanding it from the outside is another. But clarity usually begins when you experience it directly. During International Coaching Week, we’re hosting a series of live sessions designed to help you explore coaching in practice and what it could mean for you. This series is shaped by a diverse group of experienced coaches from our community, bringing different perspectives into the conversation. I truly believe you can’t fully understand the impact of coaching until you experience it for yourself. Even while studying coaching, the real value comes from putting it into practice. It’s through those real conversations, reflections, and moments of growth that the true essence of coaching becomes clear. Learning gives you the framework — but experience is what brings it to life.

This is something I come back to regularly in my own thinking about what coaching should look like. Elena Aguilar names something that quietly derails a lot of coaching conversations: the coach's goal is not to prove they saw something or noticed something. It's to help the other person develop perspective about what's happening in their world. That's a reframe worth sitting with for anyone who leads coaching work in schools. In a world full of quick fixes and surface-level solutions, real change requires something deeper. Annekarien van de Velde, Country & Education Director, New Zealand at Coach Masters Academy NZ, brings a powerful perspective to coaching, one that goes beyond goals and actions, and into how people think, interpret, and make meaning of their experiences. Lasting change comes from new perspectives, not just new actions. When people see differently, they choose differently. Annekarien shares how powerful conversations can move beyond “fixing problems” to creating lasting transformation, where insight leads to meaningful, grounded action. Watch the full video and explore what it really means to coach for change, not just outcomes. #Coaching #LeadershipDevelopment #TransformationalCoaching #PersonalGrowth #ICF #LearningAndDevelopment

There’s a difference between learning coaching… and becoming a coach. I’m grateful to be part of TimeCoach Academy. And not just as a student of the craft, but as a coach contributing to something much bigger than a program. For me, this work is a passion project rooted in one belief: When we develop better humans, we create better workplaces, better communities, and ultimately, a better world. Coaching, when done well, isn’t about having the answers. It’s about creating the space where clarity, ownership, and meaningful direction can emerge, especially in the complexity leaders are navigating today. That’s what drew me here. And it’s what keeps me invested in giving back through this work and supporting the development of coaches who lead with presence, depth, and real impact. If you’ve been feeling the pull to: • Step into coaching more professionally • Deepen your leadership capability • Or expand how you support others in meaningful ways This path might be worth exploring. I’m happy to share more about the program, structure, and what the experience is really like beyond the brochure. Feel free to DM me directly if you’re curious or want to learn more. #ICFCoaching #CoachTraining #LeadershipDevelopment #CoachingMindset #ExecutiveCoaching #HumanDevelopment #TimeCoachAcademy

In a world where uncertainty is no longer the exception but the norm, the role of a coach is not to provide answers — but to create space for clarity, awareness, and meaningful direction. At TimeCoach Academy, we don’t just teach coaching. We develop coaches who can think deeply, stay present, and create impact in complex realities. Our ICF-accredited programs (Level 1, Level 2 & CCE) are designed for those who are ready to move beyond techniques — and step into coaching as a way of being. If you feel called to become a professional coach — or to elevate your current practice to a global standard — this might be your next step. 📩 Send me a direct message for full details, program structure, and upcoming cohort information. #ICFCoaching #CoachTraining #ProfessionalCoaching #LeadershipDevelopment #UncertaintyLeadership #CoachingMindset #ExecutiveCoaching #HumanDevelopment #SelfAwareness #TimeCoachAcademy

There’s no single formula for great coaching. The best coaches know how to apply research in the moment, adjusting to the people in front of them and the environment they’re working in. For facility operators, that balance can shape member results, retention and the overall training experience. Coaching that adapts leads to better outcomes and stronger connections on the floor. Hear from Professor Ian Jeffreys, President of the NSCA, as he shares his perspective on blending science and practice. Join the conversation #coaching #performancetraining #gymowners
