Clients rarely leave coaching because they don’t want to grow. More often, they leave because the process lacks structure. Common reasons clients lose momentum: • No clear goals • No progress tracking • Lack of accountability • No engagement between sessions When coaching includes clear systems and consistent follow-ups, clients stay motivated and committed to the process. Cephamore helps coaches build stronger client relationships through structured progress tracking and accountability tools. Want to see how Cephamore can support your coaching business? Most new coaches don't lack skill. They lack a repeatable shape. Every session starts from scratch. You're rebuilding the structure in your head while simultaneously trying to be present with your client. It's a type of multi-tasking that means neither task is done as well as it could. When I built my first structured coaching package, something shifted. Not because the content changed. But because I knew where I was going before I walked in. The goals were clearer. The sessions felt easier to deliver. Easier to talk about. Easier to sell. Structure doesn't constrain a coaching session. It frees you up to actually be fully present in it. Three things that give your sessions a shape: 1. Define your opening ritual The first five minutes set the tone for everything that follows. Decide in advance how you'll open every session. A check-in question, a grounding moment, a quick review of last session. Make it yours and repeat it every time. 2. Know your anchor exercise Every good session has one central exercise that does the heavy lifting. Know what yours is before you sit down with a client. Everything else builds around it. 3. Have a clear closing sequence How does the session end? What does the client leave with? A committed action, a reflection, a next step. If you're not sure how to close, the session just stops...abruptly. That's not the feeling you want to leave your client with. A session with a shape feels different to deliver. Your client feels it too, even if they can't name it. 💬 What's the one thing that gave your coaching sessions more structure? Coaching shouldn’t rely on guesswork. Without clear data, it’s difficult to know what’s actually working, where clients are struggling, and how to guide them effectively. Tracking mood, habits, consistency, and progress gives you real insight into the client journey—not just surface-level results. That’s what allows you to make better decisions, provide more targeted support, and drive stronger outcomes. The shift from guesswork to data is what separates average coaching from high-impact coaching. Request a free demo to start coaching with real data.

Some of the best breakthroughs in business happen during what coaches call the "hot seat." One business owner brings a challenge. The group listens. We ask questions. We break down the problem. Very often the solution becomes clear quickly. Hot seat coaching is powerful because: • it brings outside perspective • it reveals blind spots • it creates accountability This will be a key part of RISE Weekly coaching sessions starting May 1. https://lnkd.in/eMs6fs-z

For growing coaching businesses, the bottleneck is rarely coaching—it’s operations. On the surface, everything looks fine: • Clients are happy • You’re “caught up” • Nothing feels urgent But underneath? You’re always responding. Always available. Holding the entire business in your head. That’s not scalable. That’s survival. And the problem is—you don’t feel it right away. By the time it *does* feel heavy, it’s already costing you: time, energy, and revenue. We see this pattern constantly with growing coaches. If this sounds familiar, it’s not a failure. Your business has outgrown its current systems. If you want a second set of eyes on where the friction is (and how to remove it) reach out or book a discovery call. https://lnkd.in/g2WaARky

The 9th Coach Movers Business Retreat (GMBR) is coming up on June 13th, and it’s truly an exciting milestone. Long before many coaches recognized the need for business acumen, MACC, as the Malaysian Association of Certified Coaches, had the foresight to launch this. This year is special—it’s back live after two years of virtual sessions, and it’s designed to be highly interactive. Expect a fireside chat and specialized coach mentoring groups that tackle unique business challenges. This retreat aims to help coaches not just “break the egg” but truly flourish in their business. It’s a pioneering effort to foster sustainable coaching practices! Malaysian Coaches Corporate Coach Academy (CCA)

I asked a group of coaches how long their session prep takes. Average answer: 25 minutes per client. If you have 10 clients and meet weekly, that's over 4 hours a week just getting ready to coach. That's half a workday. Every week. Just on prep. What would you do with 4 hours back? My session prep takes under 5 minutes. Not because I cut corners. Because the system does the preparation for me. Client history, open actions, patterns, suggested questions - ready before I open the call. That's the difference between a coaching practice and an AI-powered coaching practice.

A lot of coaching business advice is built around the goal to fill your coaching diary and grow from there. But plenty of coaches also train, facilitate, supervise or consult. And for many, especially those working in or around the not-for-profit sector, that broader practice isn't a distraction - it's actually their ecosystem and how they want to move through the world. How about you? How do you introduce yourself and what you do? What do you forefront and what do you hide / forget to mention?!
