I finally turned an idea into reality! After completing the Generative AI Mastermind Bootcamp by Outskill, led by Vaibhav Sisinty (Big Thankyou), I finally took the plunge into building something of my own. Using vibe coding with Emergent, I’ve created "Go Dutch" – a beginner-friendly app for learning Dutch for English speakers. ( I wanted my own Duolingo without ads 😁 , no it's nowhere near...YET! ) Here’s what makes this journey special: I learned vibe coding with Emergent, which allowed me to build an end-to-end app without writing traditional code ( Something that scares me to death :0 ). I used ChatGPT's superpowers ( other than menial tasks it does for me) to generate smart prompts for lessons, quizzes, and vocabulary, making content creation fast and intelligent! Perplexity, Claude.AI can be other LLMs than can be used for brainstorming ideas. The app is fully functional with no authentication or database — it only uses Emergent’s API key. (Just to make it a bare bone MVP for guest users, no log-in needed) Lessons start at A1 level, progressing up to C2 with auto-generated lessons using OpenAI integration with flashcards, quizzes, and progress tracking to make learning fun and effective. All the ideas suggested by my free non-judgmental, always complementing AI advisor....I mean, wow! 😃 💡 Key takeaway: Combining AI + no-code tools empowers anyone, I mean anyone, even a non-tech person to build real, usable products in record time.
