Most recruiters don’t have a sourcing problem. They have a clarity problem. It usually starts at the very beginning… and carries all the way through the process. We see it play out every week; roles that look fine on paper, but never quite land the way they should. The difference isn’t more activity. It’s what happens before the first CV even goes out. We unpack it here: https://lnkd.in/gS_p_UA7 Follow Intuitive Rec2Rec for more insights on building a high-performing desk. #rec2recinsights #recruitmentbestpractices #recruitmentprocessimprovement #recruiterskills #candidateengagementskills

Somebody, please help me understand the recruiting industry. How is it that, when some vacancy opens up for which I may be a good fit, I receive messages from multiple individuals who work for the same staffing agency? Is there no coordinated system for reaching out to potential candidates, for example, creating a list of individuals and then dividing up that list and assigning names to separate recruiters? Is it truly cost-effective to carpet bomb the job market with direct messages and e-mails from every direction in the hopes that one recruiter will receive a response?

I interviewed 6 recruiters They’re all billing above $1,000,000+ Guess what all of them have in common? Every single one of them starts off their day by calling candidates first Here’s what their day looks like… Morning - Call candidates, ask questions, gather information Afternoon - Call decision makers, use new information that the candidate has given you and book meetings It's not a coincidence that five $1,000,000 billers all use the same strategy for BD They all do it because it works so well Great reminder for all recruiters who want to improve their BD game Start with the candidates, gather information, then go into calls WARM, armed with relevant information. If it helped 6 recruiters bill $1,000,000 It will probably help you too.

Misconceptions about staffing agencies can keep talented professionals from exploring useful career paths. The Job Shop’s latest blog breaks down three common myths: that temp jobs are only short term, that agencies only offer entry level work, and that working with an agency limits your options. For Bay Area job seekers considering temporary, temp to hire, or professional support roles, this guide offers a clearer way to evaluate staffing as part of a broader job search strategy. https://lnkd.in/dzBgHgFb
