Apprenticeships can be engines toward economic growth which is essential for a fairer and more inclusive global economy. Across the world, young people continue to face disproportionate barriers in the labour market. According to the International Labour Organization, youth unemployment rates remain 3.5 times higher than those of adults. This inequality is a labor market challenge and hinderance to social justice.
