Budget 2026 brings some thoughtful signals around how India is looking at digital infrastructure, global confidence, and growth beyond the metros. Sharing my perspective in a recent The Hans India piece, I spoke about how long-term tax clarity can help global companies plan with more confidence in India, and how cloud, data services, and BPM have a real opportunity to grow outside major cities. For teams like ours, these developments matter. They influence where companies invest, how they expand, and how they build regional teams over time. India’s Budget 2026 quietly changed the global cloud equation. A 20-year tax horizon (till 2047) for global cloud services delivered from Indian data centres is not an incentive. It’s a strategic signal. For the first time, India isn’t just attracting data center investments - it’s positioning itself as a global export hub for cloud and AI infrastructure. What makes this different? • Policy certainty across multiple technology cycles • Tax-efficient delivery of global cloud services from India • Clear compliance and transfer-pricing guardrails • Strong alignment between national AI ambition and infrastructure readiness But policy is only the starting line. As hyperscalers and global cloud providers accelerate into India, the real challenge will be execution - translating policy advantage into production-ready, compliant, AI-dense capacity without delays, cost overruns, or resilience gaps. In the coming years, differentiation won’t come from who enters India first but from who can build, commission, and scale with discipline. Budget 2026 has opened the window. Execution will decide who truly captures the opportunity. Scientific Validation for the Founders Digital Toolkit The Founders Digital Toolkit (FDT) is positioned as a critical bridge between business vision and execution, a premise supported by new data from the PwC 2025 Africa Cloud Business Survey titled " African Firms are All on Cloud, at Least on Paper". (https://lnkd.in/dr3VGQah) . While 91% of African businesses deem AI essential, only 37% are successfully scaling it, validating the FDT’s focus on closing the strategy and execution gap. Hardly a Week Since Launch, and the Founders Digital Toolkit (FDT) Already Has Scientific Validation. The opening line of our FDT brochure doesn't mince words: "The Founders Digital Toolkit is the bridge between business vision and execution." When we wrote that, we knew the "Execution Chasm" was real. We just didn't realize how massive it was until the data caught up with us this week. A fresh report from TechCentral, citing the PwC 2025 Africa Cloud Business Survey, has effectively validated the FDT’s entire existence. The numbers are a wake-up call for every founder on the continent: The 91% vs. 37% Reality Check While 91% of African businesses say Agentic AI is non-negotiable for their future, a staggering only 37% are actually succeeding at scaling it. The "Vision" is there. The "Execution" is broken. Why the FDT is the "Scientific" Solution: The research identifies the exact "Strategy Vacuum" that the FDT was engineered to fill: The Perception Gap: There is a 12% disconnect between leaders who think they are "advanced" and the technical teams who know they aren't. FDT closes this by providing a unified operational language. The Strategy Deficit: 23% of leaders admit their IT spend doesn't align with business goals. FDT provides the Decision Matrices and ROI Frameworks to ensure every rand drives growth, not just "tech for tech’s sake." The data is clear: Knowledge is a commodity, but Execution is the differentiator. We didn't just build a program; we built the "Operational Bridge" the market is currently screaming for. If you are tired of being part of the 91% who "aspire" and want to join the elite 37% who "execute," the Founders Digital Toolkit is your scientific pathway. The 2026 "Year of AI Execution" has already started. Are you crossing the bridge, or falling into the chasm? #FoundersDigitalToolkit, #FDT #AfricanTech, #AIExecution, #BusinessStrategy, #DigitalTransformation, #PwCReport

In a bold move to become a global AI superpower, India has announced a "zero-tax" policy through 2047 for companies establishing high-capacity AI data centers and research hubs within its borders. The initiative aims to attract the world’s largest tech firms by offering a combination of tax exemptions, subsidized green energy, and access to a massive technical talent pool. By providing a stable, long-term regulatory environment, India hopes to lure major AI workloads away from traditional hubs in Europe and North America, positioning itself as the critical backend of the 21st-century digital economy. #India #AI #TechPolicy #Innovation #Technology #AIInfrastructur #DataCenters #DigitalIndia #TechEconomy #TechnologyNews #Incentives https://lnkd.in/dDnJsgSX

The BVP Nasdaq Emerging Cloud Index has fallen roughly 32.7% since February 2025, when Claude Code was released, even as revenue growth held at 19.3% and free-cash-flow discipline improved sector-wide. The market isn't punishing SaaS for what it's lost. It's pricing in what it's about to give away. SaaS spent two decades choosing scale over depth. They built the platform and outsourced the remaining industry expertise, last-mile configuration, domain knowledge. That strategic choice powered massive growth. It's also the exact vulnerability AI is now targeting. But the "AI replaces everything overnight" narrative misses the structural reality. Governed data, regulatory compliance, change management, and the unglamorous work of keeping software safe and running aren't things you vibe code away. The real question isn't whether your SaaS ERP survives. It's whether anyone will know it's there. New article on the Bacon Bytes exploring what happens when SaaS stops being the product and becomes the plumbing. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gAQSjvYm
