Compared to traditional keyword search, vector search yields more relevant results and executes faster by retrieving objects based on similarity. Instructor Kirsten Hunter starts off with an examination of the basics of vector search, detailing search terms, use cases, and a basic application using vector search. Kirsten then takes a look at ChatGPT—what it is, how it works, what you can accomplish with it—and offers a challenge task for some hands-on experience. She also shows you how to create and use a basic Q&A engine and explores some different machine learning tools like Cassio and MindsDB.
