Project Manager

My client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex commercial and high-end residential window, storefront, and façade installation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple façade, window, and storefront projects simultaneously throughout NYC and surrounding boroughs
• Lead projects from contract award through installation and final closeout
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, general contractors, manufacturers, and internal engineering teams
• Review shop drawings, submittals, schedules, RFIs, and field conditions
• Drive project schedules and ensure procurement aligns with installation sequencing
• Oversee project budgets, change orders, cost tracking, and forecasting
• Conduct site visits and attend project meetings with clients and subcontractors
• Ensure installation quality, safety compliance, and adherence to NYC building requirements
• Support problem-solving during field installation and coordinate resolution of technical issues
• Work closely with operations and logistics teams to maintain project delivery timelines
• Maintain strong client communication throughout the lifecycle of the project

Ideal Background

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within:

Curtain wall

Windows & glazing

Storefront systems

Exterior façade systems

Architectural metals

• Experience managing projects within NYC construction environments
• Strong understanding of commercial glazing systems, installation sequencing, and façade coordination
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical details
• Experience coordinating with engineering and fabrication teams
• Familiarity with landmark/LPC projects, passive house systems, or high-performance envelope systems is highly desirable
• Strong commercial awareness and schedule management skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities

Preferred Experience

• High-rise residential or commercial façade projects
• Unitized curtain wall systems
• Window replacement programs
• Historic restoration or landmarked projects
• NYC DOB and site compliance exposure
• Experience working with subcontractors and union labor environments
