I was recently commenting that it doesn’t appear that any of our thousands of Etaluma, Inc. customers are doing the same thing the same way. Many may be doing apoptosis for example but with different labware, cell lines, stains, magnifications, and especially the number and location of the fields of views (FOV) they want to capture. This last requirement is an interesting example of the imaging iceberg.

This is possibly one of those breakthroughs that will change the course of science. Accurately copying the methylation pattern of DNA has been a challenge since PCR was originally developed. This is one of the issues holding back applications like liquid biopsies. Finally there's a way to do it. An exciting announcement with immense potential. Well done Syndex.
