Paula Como Kauth shared thisAs I mark my 10 year anniversary with BCM One, I’ve been reflecting on the journey -- how far the company has come and the role marketing has played in fueling that growth. A decade ago, I was handed a blank page and a clear challenge: build a marketing function for an established telecom company ready to expand its presence from a regional provider to a national provider. There was no playbook, no team, and no lead pipeline - just a bold vision and the opportunity to build something from the ground up. Fast forward to today: 🚀 65 employees to nearly 700 🚀 1 NYC office to 10 global locations 🚀 1 marketing team member to a team of 16 with a US marketing team and a UK-based marketing team 🚀 1 brand to a portfolio of 5 brands under a unified corporate umbrella 🚀 1 website to 6 driving growth and awareness 🚀 A regional footprint to a national and now global presence What we’ve built goes far beyond scale -- it’s about impact: 🌐 Brand & Content: Clear, consistent storytelling in a competitive market 🌐 Digital & Paid Media: Smarter targeting, continuous optimization, stronger ROI 🌐 Demand Generation: A high-performing engine focused on quality leads that convert to new logo’d business 🌐 Events: Scaled from regional gatherings to 50+ nationwide and global events annually — spanning direct customer experiences and channel partner engagements 🌐 Product Launches: Turning ideas into market-ready, differentiated messaging for our offerings 🌐 Data & Analytics: A shift to insight-driven decision-making that accelerates performance 🌐 CRM Operations: Built and scaled our CRM platform from a single instance to five, laying the groundwork for a now dedicated function to drive ongoing performance. I joined nexVortex right out of college, and over time we grew into something much larger. In 2020, we were acquired by BCM One right as COVID hit, a moment when I had no idea what to expect during such a crazy time in life. What started as a focus for me on very small SMB customers evolved into serving Global Enterprises and Fortune 500 clients. Being part of that journey from the beginning has been both rewarding and humbling. I want to thank the many talented employees across nexVortex and BCM One that I had the opportunity to work alongside over the years. The people are what made the experience so special, and I’m grateful for the relationships and shared success we built together. I’m especially grateful for the Partners, Technology Advisors, VARs, TSDs, and customers who trusted us and played such a key role in building something meaningful together. Looking ahead, I’ve made the decision to join GlobalLinc as a Managing Partner.
