SuperCom Wins New Project in Wisconsin, Expanding U.S. Presence into 12th New State   SuperCom (NASDAQ: SPCB), a global provider of secure solutions for the e-Government, IoT, and Cybersecurity sectors, announced that, together with an established service provider partner in the Midwest region, it has won a new electronic monitoring (EM) project to deploy its PureSecurity EM technology. The project is with a sheriff's department in the state of Wisconsin. ❓ Question came up today regarding SB re-representation on OASIS+ compared to SeaPort-NxG where SB vendors need to re-represent as small for every order. 💡OASIS+ SB is inherently different from SeaPort-NxG relative to small business size representation. O+-SB is set-aside for SB where SeaPort-NxG is not set-aside, but has one pool for all vendors (OTSB and SB). 💡13 C.F.R. § 121.404(c)(1). Where an order is set-aside for small business under an unrestricted multiple award contract, SBA determines size status … as of the date a business concern submits its initial offer … for each order because the base MAC wasn't limited to small businesses. 💡13 C.F.R. § 121.404(c)(2)(i). In the case of OASIS+, the SB contract is set-aside for small business. When an order is issued under a MAC “that itself was set aside or reserved for small business … SBA determines size … as of the date” you submitted the offer for the MAC, “unless a contracting officer requests size recertification with respect to a specific order.” NOTE:  > Even when you have to re-certify for an order, it affects that order only — it doesn’t retroactively kick you off the MAC.
