The International Business Program Advisory Board (PAB) is comprised of industry members and professionals working in international business fields throughout the region. By providing their expertise and insight, board members help ensure the program is generating graduates who possess the skills and knowledge necessary to become valuable interns and employees.
Some of my responsibilities during (and before) my time on the Board have included:

By providing their expertise and insight, board members help ensure the program is generating graduates who possess the skills and knowledge necessary to become valuable interns and employees.
Some of my responsibilities during (and before) my time on the Board have included:
• Providing industry updates at board meetings, including news, trends, and insights from a Retail/Tech standpoint.
• Reviewing and providing input for course curriculum to keep content relevant and up-to-date based on changing industry and hiring needs.
• Participating as a guest speaker in classes, taking part in panels, and assisting students and alumni with mock interviewing.
• Leveraging my professional network to further connect and integrate the program into the regional business landscape.

As a student in North's fairly new bachelors program, I was invited to speak as a panelist at the Washington State Applied Baccalaureate Conference, an event attended by nearly 150 presidents, deans, and other top professionals from all of Washington's community and technical colleges. Major topics covered were identifying bachelor program needs for each region, how quickly and effectively more colleges can transition from traditional community colleges to institutions that offer 4 year…
