Think jewellery chains spinning up AI-pricing apps, SMBs ditching spreadsheets for onboarding tools, even healthcare patients building pain-management solutions. But here’s the catch 👇 Retention > creation. Generating millions of apps is flashy. Keeping them live, secure, and monetised is harder. Discovery and billing flows are still in their early stages. Quality & compliance. Building real apps means adhering to PCI compliance, implementing secure authentication, and maintaining safe data practices. Emergent claims in-house testing/security agents, but independent audits will matter. Competition is fierce. Replit, Builder(dot)ai, Rocket(dot)New, Cursor: Everyone is chasing “apps from text.” Emergent’s moat must be infrastructure, reliability, and a marketplace. Unit economics. Hosting and runtime LLM costs scale with the number of active users. Using cheaper models and caching helps, but the test is focused on gross margin at scale. The opportunity: The low-code/AI app market is forecast to hit hundreds of billions by 2030+. There’s no real action layer — no way to search, select, or book directly within the chat, no rich content, no branding. The Shift: OpenAI has quietly transformed ChatGPT from a question-answering tool into a platform. With the new Apps SDK, developers can now build apps that live inside ChatGPT. These apps can render interactive UIs — cards, forms, lists, or even full-page widgets — right within the conversation. So when you say, “Search flights to Mumbai,” ChatGPT can connect to your enterprise MCP server and display a flight-search widget instead of plain text. How It Works (Simplified Use Case): 1. Airline builds an MCP server exposing tools like search_flights, select_itinerary, book, and pay. 2. Each tool returns structured data plus UI metadata. 3.When a user asks, “Show me flights to Mumbai,” ChatGPT recognizes the intent and calls Airline's MCP tool. 4.Airline's MCP server responds with a rich widget — flight options, filters, and action buttons. The user interacts directly in-chat: chooses a flight, enters traveler info, and confirms payment. Each prompt triggers a new, dynamic UI surface — making the conversation feel more like using an app than reading a chat. The Outcome: Users get context-aware, actionable experiences instead of long text replies. Enterprises gain control over presentation — deciding what data to show and how to render it. Currently, the Apps SDK’s rich UI is ChatGPT-specific, which means we may end up having targeted MCP deployments. This is surely the next evolution of conversational AI — from answering to acting, from telling to showing, from text to interactive, enterprise-driven experiences. The recent announcement of a $100,000 H-1B visa fee has caught my attention, and I believe it will reshape global IT delivery models in surprising ways. At first glance, this may seem like a move to protect U.S. jobs, but the reality could be quite different: 🔹 U.S. firms may face higher project costs and slower execution. 🔹 More delivery may shift offshore, especially to India. 🔹 Countries like Canada and the UK, which are opening doors for tech talent, might attract the very skills the U.S. risks losing. From an India perspective, this could actually be an opportunity. More projects staying back in India means stronger IT hubs, more jobs, and less brain drain. As someone working at Cognizant, I see firsthand how global delivery models adapt quickly to such policy changes. H1B Visa Impact on Tier 1 IT Firms : As of 2025, Tier-1 Indian IT companies received between 950 and 5,500 approved H-1B visas each. Based on our estimates, the proposed incremental $100,000 fee per visa would translate into an additional cost burden in the range of $95–550 million across these companies. This would likely result in a 1–2% margin impact for Tier-1 IT firms. This development comes at a time when the sector is already facing margin pressures due to subdued growth, increased investments in sales, marketing and new technologies, and limited operational levers left to optimize. In the near term, we see this move as sentimentally negative for the sector. To mitigate the additional costs, Indian IT companies may adopt the following strategies: - Increase reliance on subcontractors in the US market - Enhance local hiring in client geographies - Accelerate service delivery from nearshore centers such as Mexico and Canada From a cost perspective, subcontractor wages in the US are typically 15–20% higher than those of H-1B visa holders. With rising demand for subcontractors, this premium is likely to expand. Over the medium to long term, this policy shift may act as a catalyst for further offshoring initiatives, reducing dependence on the H-1B program. Importantly, reliance on H-1B visas has already declined by more than 50% since 2016, driven by higher denial rates during the Trump administration, increased local hiring, broader subcontracting, and greater use of nearshore centers. In conclusion, while the proposed fee hike could have a 1–2% margin headwind, Tier-1 IT companies are well-positioned to adapt, with a clear strategic trajectory towards reduced dependence on H-1B visas over time.

Currently I am going through Github Copilot tutorials from Microsoft Learn site. It is very good documentation. All text. GitHub Copilot has an enterprise license which will take all responsibility for an IP infringement related legal issues arising due to auto generated code. Only condition is that you should disable public code access settings.
