I recently interviewed their Founder & CEO, Denis O'Shea, about our new partnership and how Mentor is differentiating themselves in the Telarus Microsoft-support ecosystem. Patrick Oborn shared thisJust wanted to thank you all for an amazing, memorable, educational, and fun Channel Partners Show! For me it started with the Alliance of Channel Women gala. If you aren’t a member of that organization, you should check it out. 🙏. Next was the CableFinder party, where I got to thank Jeff Pratt and his team for their continued progress building the industry’s best broadband quoting and paperwork generation engine. Combined with GeoQuote, TA’s have unprecedented ability to quote, propose, and contract network services like never before. The next morning I had the huge privilege of running the Running the Channel 5K. A massive shout out to CBTS’ Rob Messmer and Katie Vukovic for organizing yet another amazing event. It’s so great to mix and mingle with suppliers, TA’s, and my fellow TSDs for an hour without any weirdness, completion, or angle. For 60-minutes we’re all just friends getting some fresh air and having fun supporting each other! Congrats to Adam Edwards, Ian Kieninger, and Ken Mills on a fantastic center stage panel, where they talked about the importance of proprietary insights when making important technology decisions. My favorite quote was “a CTO isn’t going to stake his career and reputation on public information he found on ChatGPT”. All three leaders were on point and dropping knowledge. Very entertaining and enlightening! Lastly, I was able to connect and re-connect with so many of you. Having now attended 23 of these in a row, I’ve been blessed to be able to work with so many of you for so many years. The Channel wasn’t always this “big and powerful”. I remember vividly trying to twist arms to get information for GeoQuote, to get suppliers to hire better talent to support us, to pay SPIFs they owed our TA’s, to sponsor just one event, and to pay us just a tiny amount of attention. Together WE have grown this community to rival the “big boy” consulting indusrty and we’re still just getting started. #BuilForYou #Since2002 #Family

When we started this business in 2002, we were dead ass last. The smallest. The new guys who didn’t have any technology sales experience. We knew no one, had no friends, and meager savings accounts. But, we believed, and still believe, that the TSD who can help the TA community sell more than they could on their own or with one of our peers; would eventually win out in spite of a seemingly insurmoutable lead. After being the first to automate the broadband quoting process, writing our own proprietary commissions processing system, building unique partner support and escalation teams, and assembling the world’s great brainstrust of engineers in the world, here we are. This tangible result represents our laser focus on helping advisors grow, to live their dreams, to pursue philanthropic interests, and live life of their own terms. Patrick Oborn shared thisCan’t think of a better way to finish out the year than celebrating the collective success of our Colorado TA’s in Denver, 20’s style! There were plenty of 3-piece suits, suspenders, sequin dresses, and top hats to make the party one for the ages! I’ll never forget the massive applause when I introduced Denver-native Phillip Brekke, as the new Area Vice President of the Mountain West, and equal excitement for the introduction of THE Tamara Prazak, the new Telarus SDPM of Colorado. Between TP and Justine Palmer, the Rockies are taking things to an already elevated level of brilliance. 💪🙌 It was so great to meet some of our new TA’s, one of which just signed a week ago, along with some of our loooong time partners here the area, one who grew up together with us since 2002. We are beyond thankful for your partnership these many years. You are and will forever be family to us. So let’s raise our glasses and toast an amazing 2025 full of AI-everything, and a 2026 full of lots of data center, hybrid cloud, Microsoft, CCaaS & UCaaS, security, and self-optimizing network projects!! In Q2 2022 we launched the Security Quick Solution Assessment as a private-labelled guided selling tool to help in this effort, and are working hard on other technology QSA's as we speak. Follow the Flag 5K
Each July I organize a charity fund-raiser trail run called the "Follow the Flag 5K", where the money raised helps fund the Follow the Flag Foundation, the organization that flies the world's largest flag in Grove Creek Canyon each July 4th and provides flag service at the funerals of local fallen soldiers and law enforecement officers.

Telarus Partner Summit was created by my team in 2012 to bring together, on an individual basis, all of the top carriers and agent partners in the country for a 3-day conference. We held the first TPS at the 5-star Stein Eriksen Resort in Park City, Utah, and now we hold one each year averaging over 1,000 guests per conference.
