Today? They’re live in the U.S., expanding globally, and no longer held back by fragmented regulations.

🚨 VanEck has filed for a Lido Staked Ethereum ETF in Delaware -> VanEck's recent Delaware registration may enable the launch of a product tied to Lido's liquid staking protocol, creating an ETF that utilizes Ethereum's staking rewards. -> Integrating native yield within an ETF simplifies the process for traditional entities to benefit from on-chain finance operations. -> The Genius Act established a framework for stablecoins and Ethereum applications to operate, leading major banks, fintechs, and other institutions to explore or invest in the technology. -> As staking gains traction, this development may prompt U.S. regulators to clarify rules regarding staked asset ETFs, while the UK continues to have a blanket ban on all crypto ETFs.

Mempool.space has a great visual on the current lightning payments happening on layer 2. This is bitcoin shifting around on a layer above the main chain, which is similar to Credit Card payments happening in real time, but without a custodian, and peer to peer. This graphic shows people making payments to one another or to merchants via an integrated Point of Sale system. This shows the node-to-node movement of bitcoin. This is a distributed network on top of a distributed network, much like the Visa network on top of SWIFT, but decentralized. Imagine being a business owner held hostage to credit card fees and chargebacks, suddenly now being able to implement another way to facilitate payments at a fraction of the price, with instant settlement. It's time to modernize finance; it's way past due for a fundamental improvement in the way payments are done.

With USAT launching as a U.S.-regulated stablecoin and direct competition to Circle’s USDC, the Tether chief is everywhere—in Fortune, Bloomberg, Reuters, and TechCrunch—pushing a narrative shift from offshore opacity to mainstream legitimacy 💎. USAT isn’t USDT; it’s a bid to prove Tether can comply with new rules while expanding its footprint in the U.S. market. Tether’s momentum isn’t tiny: USDT has a global market cap of about $187 billion and roughly 536 million users, growing at a rate that makes Facebook look slow. Ardoino frames this as a financial inclusion tale, especially in countries with shattered currencies. "In Argentina, the peso lost 94.5% of its value in five years," he notes, while Haiti’s daily wages hover around $1.34. He argues blockchain transparency makes law enforcement easier than cash and points to $3.5 billion frozen in tokens linked to scams or hacks. Yet the critique isn’t gone. The Economist once labeled USDT a "money launderer’s dream," S&P questioned stability, and concerns linger about Cantor Fitzgerald handling reserves and Lutnick’s sway over policy. Ardoino shrugs: "the infinite majority of usage is good," and touts reserves—$30 billion in excess backing beyond redemptions—held with Cantor Fitzgerald. Hitting Rate Limits on Claude? Here are some tips on what you can do so you don't have to buy API tokens or spend more money If you are paying $200 a month for the Max 20x plan and still hitting the ceiling, you are likely suffering from "Context Bloat." In 2026, the way you manage your chat history and project files is actually more important than how many messages you send. Here is the professional guide to making that $200 plan feel unlimited. 1. Master the "Context Reset" Commands Every time you send a message, Claude re-reads the entire conversation. If you have a 50-message thread, you are paying for those same 50 messages over and over again. /clear: Use this when you finish a sub-task. It wipes the active memory but keeps you in the same chat. /compact: This is a 2026 favorite. It tells Claude to summarize key decisions or code, delete the "fluff" messages, and keep going with a tiny context footprint. Shift + Tab (Planning Mode): Before Claude writes any code, force it to "plan" first. Catching a mistake in a plan costs 500 tokens. Catching it after it writes 5 files costs 50,000. 2. Optimize Your Project Knowledge If you are using "Projects," your files are cached, which is good. But your instructions often are not. .claudeignore is mandatory: Just like a .gitignore, create a .claudeignore file in your root directory. Add node_modules/, build/, .git/, and any massive .json or .csv files. If Claude scans these during a search, it burns your quota instantly. Prune your CLAUDE.md: Power users often put their entire manual in CLAUDE.md. In 2026, this is a mistake. Move detailed documentation to a file in your project knowledge base and keep CLAUDE.md under 1,000 tokens for high-level rules only. 3. Stop Using "Auto" Model Don't use the default setting. It tends to default to Sonnet 4.6 or Opus 4.6, which are expensive. For "Explain this file" or "Fix this typo": Switch to Haiku 4.5. It is 10x cheaper on your internal quota and handles basic tasks perfectly. For "Architect this whole system": Switch to Opus 4.6. Command: Type /model haiku to drop into "economy mode" for the simple stuff. 4. The "US Time Zone" Hack (March 2026 Promotion) If you are in the USA, you can exploit the current Anthropic 2x Boost running through March 28. This doubles your message limit during off-peak hours based on Eastern Time (ET). Peak Hours (Normal Limit): 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM ET Off-Peak (2x Limit + No Weekly Cap): 1:00 PM – 7:00 AM ET Strategy: If you have a "limit-breaking" task like a massive refactor, start it after 1:00 PM ET. Not only do you get double the messages per window, but those messages do not count toward your weekly lockout cap. 5. The New York State Office of Cannabis Management is launching its first public listening sessions focused on adult-use cannabis regulations. With New York’s legal cannabis market now exceeding $2 billion in sales, the Office is reviewing current regulations and seeking feedback from the public to better understand how existing rules impact cannabis businesses, workers, consumers, and communities. Input gathered during these sessions will help inform potential updates to several regulatory sections, including Part 118 (Definitions), Part 119 (Municipality Rulemaking), Part 120 (Application and Licensure), Part 121 (Social and Economic Rules), Part 124 (General Business Requirements and Prohibition), Part 125 (General Operating Requirements and Prohibition), and Part 131 (Severability and Reference Materials). These provisions address key issues such as licensing processes, ownership and operational requirements, social and economic equity standards, and municipal notification procedures. The listening sessions are designed to provide New Yorkers with an opportunity to share testimony, offer recommendations, and engage directly with agency leadership as the Office begins drafting potential regulatory amendments. Upcoming sessions will take place in the Mid-Hudson region on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Columbia Greene Community College; in Buffalo on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Buffalo Toronto Public Media; and in Brooklyn on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the CUNY City Tech Amphitheater.
