Kerry Tracy shared thisKerry Tracy shared thisGood morning Linked In! Today is the day I've decided to share my story. This is not the normal post for LinkedIn, but as a single mom working full time as a sales professional, I decided to give it a whirl! I am battling with end stage renal disease. In a nutshell, my kidneys no longer work. Currently, I am undergoing home hemo dialysis. It's been a wicked ride. I am blessed to be alive. Although many days I am exhausted, this treatment has given me the energy to continue to work. Many ESRD patients are not as fortunate. It's been a difficult 10 years, particularly the last 4. I have learned to live uncertainty and truly understanding that nothing is promised. I am grateful for life and spending time with my 11-year old son. The intent of this message is not to ask for sympathy. I am asking you to share my story. One click can get me one step closer to transplantation. This disease not only impacts me. CKD is rapidly increasing worldwide. In this country alone nearly 33% of Americans have a form of CKD without knowing it. My goal is to become a kidney care advocate and educate the masses about the impact of this disease. Covid-19 continues to negatively medicine, especially speciality care. The ratio of nurses/doctors in nephrology is dwindling. Less medical students are opting for nephrology. This means that as CKD is rising, less doctors will be available in the nephrology profession. Thankfully I've been blessed with an amazing nephrologist in Dr. Prayus Tailor and nursing support staff at Fresenius Brandywine Home Therapies. Today please share my story with your friends, family, and colleagues. You can find my about more about me here: https://www.nkr.org/hpb754 Thank you in advance and have a spectacular day!! Kerry Tracy liked thisKerry Tracy liked thisMay is Skin Cancer Awareness Month and this is my father, Chuck Fascetti. At 95 years young, he still exercises seven days a week, a testament to a life lived with purpose and a deep commitment to staying healthy. But the real reason he’s still here to share his strength with us is something much quieter: vigilance. I remember the summers of my childhood—Dad under the blazing sun, his southern italian skin bronzed and glowing. Back then, 'protection' wasn't in our vocabulary; it was all about Hawaiian Tropic suntan oil and the magic of a long day baking at the local pool. We didn't know then what we know now. Thirty years ago, he received his first basal cell diagnosis, and it changed everything. Because he stays disciplined with his skin check-ups, he’s still here to be our hero. This is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, I’m honoring the man who taught me that taking care of yourself is the greatest gift you can give your family.

Kerry Tracy reacted on thisKerry Tracy reacted on thisMultiple Myeloma: From 32% to 62% On the first day of Cancer Research Month, I’ve been reflecting… As a patient and Founder of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation - MMRF, I’ve had a front row seat to something pretty extraordinary. When I was diagnosed, five-year survival was about 32 percent. Today, it’s over 60 percent, according to the American Cancer Society. After a recent International Myeloma Society meeting, where leaders discussed what a cure could look like, I found myself asking: How did this happen relatively quickly in a rare, historically neglected cancer? We attracted scientists into a field that had very few. Early philanthropy built labs, supported careers, and brought new investigators into myeloma. We built critical mass, knowing no single center could solve this disease. We kept bringing the community together to align on the next problem to solve. We advanced treatment. Thalidomide opened the door. Combinations with Revlimid and Velcade changed how we treated the disease. We aligned the system. The National Cancer Institute supported infrastructure. The FDA worked with the field. Companies like Celgene/BMS, Takeda, and Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine joined us. We decoded the biology. Myeloma is highly heterogeneous, and we didn’t understand it. A shared tissue bank generated high quality samples for all to use. That led to sequencing the genome, with partners like the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and TGen - Part of City of Hope, helping define the disease at a molecular level. We shared data at scale. Our CoMMpass study brought together clinical and genomic data to define high-risk and identify new targets. We brought in new capital. Philanthropy was critical early. The Myeloma Investment Fund helped expand and accelerate innovation. We championed immunotherapy. Darzalex was a turning point, followed by CAR-T and bispecifics. We pushed for deeper responses. Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. now guides treatment and serves as a surrogate endpoint. We are now moving earlier. Work in smoldering myeloma is helping us understand when to treat and whether early intervention can change the trajectory. None of this happened in isolation. It was now a much larger team of scientists, clinicians, patients, companies, regulators, and philanthropists, still as vocal, passionate, and committed. Today, we’re not just extending survival. We’re talking about a cure. As a patient, I never expected to say that. But as we celebrate National Cancer Research month, I’m grateful.

Most media executives don’t have a data problem. They have a visibility problem. On paper, everything looks fine: pipeline reports, forecast calls, dashboards. But if activity isn’t logged and deal momentum isn’t visible, leadership is making decisions on incomplete information. “If it’s not in the CRM, it doesn’t exist.” That line is uncomfortable... but accurate. If forecasting still feels reactive instead of predictable, this perspective is worth your time. Triton Digital is one of seven companies that launched the Ad Context Protocol, designed to unify advertising across platforms through AI-based agents. AdCP itself is intended to standardize how the agents communicate. The companies believe agentic advertising will improve campaign management. Tools like AdGrid’s Audience Accelerator let publishers take the audiences they actually own and follow them into CTV, digital audio, and the open web, so they can go after the full RFP instead of a token slice. Done right, it turns “niche” into an addressable and culturally-specific audience that can be reached at scale, across formats. Data pipes won’t fix a commitment problem. If brands are serious about multicultural investment, they can’t just applaud the sophistication of these audience products and still park 2% of their spend there. The next phase is simple and uncomfortable. Pairing better data with bigger, more durable budgets, so representation and performance finally move in the same direction.

Before digital publishing became the foundation of modern media, most publishers still saw the internet as an afterthought. 🎧 Digital audio is in full throttle this year. • 70% of Americans age 12 and up have listened to a podcast, and 55% tune in monthly. That’s over 210 million people. • U.S. digital audio ad spend is projected to top $7.5 billion in 2025, with nearly 30% going to programmatic. • Many marketers still overlook this: AM/FM radio reaches more Americans each week than TV, social media, or streaming platforms. ⸻ Why it matters: Audio is everywhere. On the dial, in apps, and across podcast feeds. iHeartMedia helps brands meet that opportunity with: • 860+ broadcast radio stations nationwide • The largest podcast network in the country • A unified platform for broadcast, streaming, and podcasts • Massive reach with measurable performance In a fragmented media landscape, audio delivers both scale and connection. Radio is still the most powerful driver of reach.

Marketers spend billions chasing the “next generation” while overlooking one of the most powerful consumer groups already driving the economy: the ageless generation. People are living longer, working longer, creating longer, spending longer… and consuming media differently than outdated stereotypes suggest. Yet many brands still market aging like it’s a niche instead of a massive cultural and economic reality. This is where smart marketers separate themselves. The opportunity isn’t just about age. It’s about relevance, identity, lifestyle, and connection. Consumers don’t suddenly stop discovering brands, loving music, traveling, streaming content, or influencing purchasing decisions because of a birthday. In audio especially, this audience remains deeply engaged. Habitual listening, trusted personalities, companionship, community, local connection… these are powerful emotional drivers that many modern media plans underestimate. The brands that win won’t be the ones chasing trends the fastest. They’ll be the ones that understand people the deepest. Worth the read from Allen & Gerritsen on what marketers continue to miss about the “ageless generation.” Article in the comments.

The economics of CTV are broken. Advertisers are paying more... yet getting less: less reach, less transparency, and less confidence in measurement. Agencies are under pressure to prove value. Brands are under pressure to prove performance. Somewhere between the fragmentation of streaming and the inefficiency of legacy buying and selling, the model stopped working for both sides. It’s time to rethink the fundamentals, not how to sell more inventory, but how to rebuild trust, transparency, and efficiency across the entire ecosystem. This piece on NEO explores what’s possible when premium video becomes easier to plan, buy, and measure, across linear and digital, with the accountability our industry has been chasing for years. 👉 Reintroducing NEO: A Better Way to Buy Premium Video Reach out to the team for more…. #CTV #Streaming #MediaBuying #AdTech #BrandMarketing #Advertising #AgencyLife

Nielsen just released data that should change how advertisers allocate multicultural media budgets in 2026. Hispanic consumers are now the majority or near-majority in many of America’s largest media markets. Yet most media plans still treat them as a niche segment. Here’s the overlooked reality: • Radio reaches 93% of Hispanic adults monthly • Radio and podcasts capture 76% of all ad-supported audio time • Hispanic listeners are significantly more likely to purchase, recommend, and visit retail after hearing radio ads This is not about nostalgia for radio. It is about trust-driven behavior at scale in the markets where growth actually exists. Reach without trust is wasted spend.

According to Parks Associates, subscription video (SVOD) services are projected to reach 278 million U.S. viewers by 2029, while free ad-based platforms will attract another 236 million viewers. With Nielsen estimating 315 million total TV viewers nationwide, more than 88% of U.S. audiences will consume ad-supported content within the next four years. These numbers reflect more than a shift in viewing habits. They mark a fundamental redefinition of what TV can be—not just a passive medium, but a gateway to interaction and commerce.` https://lnkd.in/gwiUK-Tu

#Trust and #connection in a time of 'AI slop'. Not only does this resonate to me as a #marketer, but also as a consumer. Personally, I've greatly reduced my #socialmedia consumption because of this slop. Some platforms I've cut out entirely. I love how we at iHeartMedia have approached this #adtech. How are you making connections with the people who support your #business?

As more households shift from traditional MVPDs to vMVPDs and streaming platforms, TV manufacturers increasingly control the user interface, and therefore, the path to content discovery. Are you engaging directly with the teams at LG, Samsung, Roku, Vizio, and others? How do they view your station, your network, or your content brand in the context of their viewer experience? The screen may be the same, but the gatekeepers have changed. It's time to ensure local broadcasters are at the table and not left on the sidelines! https://lnkd.in/gwEscpUN
