Jeff Williams shared thisMost HR leaders I talk to didn't get into this field to process data. They got into it to make a difference for people. But somewhere along the way, the administrative weight of benefits took over. 57% of HR time going to admin tasks instead of strategy. 43% of HR teams feeling stretched too thin. These aren't statistics to me—they're a description of talented people who are being kept from the work they actually came to do. When the system works the way it should—when AI is actually doing what it promises, not just wearing the label—HR leaders get to be HR leaders again. The work they're built for: culture, strategy, talent, the decisions that actually shape an organization. That's the thinking behind everything we're building at Aptia. And it's the reason we put together this whitepaper on how smarter benefits tools reduce the real burden on HR teams. If you're tired of feeling like you're managing a system instead of leading a function, this one's worth your time. https://lnkd.in/eu46hrXJ #HRLeadership #TalentRetention #EmployeeExperience #BenefitsAdministration #HRStrategy

Jeff Williams shared thisReflecting on last week at #Transform2026 in Vegas - a packed agenda and a great place to hear how leaders are thinking about what’s next for benefits, data and employee experience. Across sessions and conversations alike, we heard similar themes: fragmented systems, limited visibility, and employees needing clearer guidance. There’s a growing gap between the sophistication of the technology available and the day‑to‑day experience it creates for employers and their people. That gap showed up consistently, regardless of organization or sector. And it explains why the focus isn’t on adding more tools - it’s on simplifying, connecting, and turning data into insight that genuinely supports better decisions. The market is looking for solutions that bring service, technology and intelligence together in a way that’s practical, usable and, most importantly, human. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share insights and perspectives. We really enjoyed meeting you all. Progress starts with listening - and building with that firmly in mind. If you’d like to continue the conversation, please get in touch.Jeff Williams shared thisWrapping up the last day at #Transform2026! Valuable conversations with leaders underscored a clear need: more visibility, less fragmentation, and smarter intelligence in benefits. It was powerful to share how the new #AptiaOne was built for exactly this moment — bringing AI‑driven insight, unified data, and connected intelligence together so organizations finally get the clarity and confidence they’ve been missing. A great week of listening, learning, and showcasing what’s next. #Transform2026 #Aptia #HRTech

Jeff Williams posted thisHappy International Women’s Day. Today isn’t about voices like mine - it’s about recognizing and listening to the women around us. I’ve been listening, and now I want to acknowledge and say thank you. Days like today are a reminder that progress doesn’t happen by chance. It happens when talented people are heard, trusted and given the opportunity to lead. And while things have moved forward, we all know there’s still work to do to ensure voices from every gender and background are represented where decisions are made. I’m fortunate to work alongside incredible women at Aptia, and with many more across our clients, partners and the wider industry. Their perspectives, leadership and willingness to challenge the status quo have taught me a huge amount. I know I’m a better leader because of it, and I know our work is stronger, more thoughtful and more effective when these voices are heard and supported across the industry. To the remarkable women across Aptia and beyond: thank you for who you are and what you do. It's also my late mother's birthday. I love that this day falls on that day. #IWD2026 #GiveToGain

Jeff Williams shared thisI have done many of these but I found this conversation with Adam Posner to be one of my absolute favorites. I once saw a leader post a paper entitled "Working With Me" that he had penned as a way of giving employees and recruits a clear and balanced view of himself (wish I could give the author credit). It's been on my to-do list for ages to write one as a result. I don't have to. This is it. I'm going to make it mandatory listening for anyone that wants to work for me at Aptia GroupJeff Williams shared thisTransformation fails when leaders assume buy-in instead of earning it. That’s the biggest takeaway from my conversation with Jeff Williams, CEO at Aptia Group on Episode #487 of #thePOZcast#thePOZcast. One of the most dangerous misconceptions in business is believing that most employees are excited about transformation. ❌ They’re not. Jeff breaks it down with clarity and real-world experience: ↴ → A small percentage of employees drive the majority of results (The top 20% deliver ~80% of outcomes) → The top 1% can influence nearly a quarter of performance → Meanwhile, most people are deeply tied to how work has always been done The mistake leaders make? → Declaring transformation from the top and assuming everyone’s on board. The reality? ✅ Successful transformation requires intentional engagement, real change management, and leaders who facilitate change, not just announce it. Jeff brings decades of perspective from leading massive businesses and P&Ls at Paychex, ADP, Aon, Alight, and now as President & CEO of Aptia, and he doesn’t sugarcoat what actually works. If you’re leading change, scaling a business, or wondering why transformation keeps stalling, this episode is required listening. ✅ Oh, and we go deep into what "benefits" really are and what matters most! Always keeping it real here! 👉🎧 LISTEN UP: https://lnkd.in/gMAkn-V2 🔥 THIS IS #THEPOZCAST > GET INVOLVED 🔥 🏆 #thePOZcast is proudly brought to you by Fountain - the leading enterprise platform for workforce management. Jeff Williams shared thisExciting milestone for Aptia as we open our new Orlando office! This expansion is about more than growing our footprint. It’s about deepening our local impact and continuing to invest in our people, clients, and communities. Grateful to our colleagues, broker partners, and local leaders who joined us to support A Gift for Teaching’s “Kits for Kids” program. A great reminder that growth and giving back go hand in hand.Jeff Williams shared thisWe’re thrilled to announce the opening of our new Orlando, Florida office, expanding our US presence and deepening our local impact. Our open house event brought together #Aptia colleagues, broker partners, vendors, and community leaders to not only see our space, but to participate in building Halloween-themed art "Kits for Kids", a program of A Gift for Teaching. It was a true celebration of growth, teamwork, and community spirit. This expansion reflects Aptia’s continued investment in our people, our clients, and the communities where we live and work. Jeff Williams liked thisJeff Williams liked thisJust shy of 38 years in the workforce, this week I start a new journey of retirement. What a ride it has been - one I never could have imagined when I started at Hewitt Associates so many years ago. I’ve had different email addresses over the years - Hewitt to Aon Hewitt to Alight to Strada Global as the organizations shifted and changed. I am so very appreciative to have worked with amazing and innovative clients and colleagues. While a lot has changed about the working world in the last 38 years, the joy and honor of working with smart, talented, and caring individuals throughout the eras was always a constant. I cherish and am forever grateful for the memories and friendships built.

Jeff Williams liked thisJeff Williams liked thisAfter more than eight years as CEO of Qlik, I’ve made the difficult decision that now is the right time for me to step down from the role. Leading Qlik has been a true privilege. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside friends and colleagues who care deeply, customers who pushed us to be better, and partners who have helped take Qlik further than we could have alone. As AI and agentic technologies reshape the world, the organizations that seize this opportunity will be those that can turn trusted data into meaningful action. I am confident that Qlik is strongly positioned to help customers do exactly that. To everyone who has been part of this journey, thank you. Together, we grew Qlik from a trusted analytics brand to a global data, analytics and AI company relied on by customers around the world, including 75% of the Fortune 500. Over this time, we acquired 14 companies, transitioned to a subscription and Cloud business, and doubled our revenue. I’m grateful for all of it, proud of everything we have accomplished together, and excited to see Qlik continue to move forward.

I had the opportunity to attend today’s Technology First event in #Dayton, OH featuring a powerhouse CIO panel sharing their 2026 outlook and it did not disappoint. Thank you to Karen Kauffman, Michael Stankas, Greg Adams, and Chris Hickok for an open, honest, and forward-looking discussion about leadership, AI, talent, and the evolving role of IT. A few themes that really stood out: 1. The CIO as a true business partner Greg put it succinctly: “I run IT as a business function with a P&L, not a cost center.” That mindset shift changes everything, from how priorities are set to how teams are developed. Michael shared that he is positioned as a true business partner with a seat at the table. That framing came up repeatedly. The modern CIO is no longer operating in the background. Technology leadership is business leadership. Karen described how reorganizing into value streams over the last few years was a game changer. That shift aligned IT directly to business priorities and outcomes, and when IT is aligned to value creation it accelerates impact. 2. AI is real, but discipline matters Chris emphasized the importance of running AI pilots in partnership with business leaders, even collaborating directly with the CFO. AI experimentation shouldn’t be an isolated IT initiative. It requires business-side conversations around governance, rules, and data stewardship. The recurring message: get your data in order now. Without strong data foundations, AI will never deliver its full value. 3. Leadership > Technology One of my favorite quotes of the day from Greg Adams: “Once you hit this seat (becoming the CIO), it’s not about you anymore, it’s about your team.” The final question from the moderator provided some interesting insights as well: "What unsolicited advice would you give your IT colleagues?" Love your people. Show them you care every day. They are your greatest asset. Focus on “Team # 1” the cross-functional leadership team of the company. Technology success is a team sport, and change management must begin early to address the nuances that determine whether transformation sticks. Perspective on today’s talent market: Supply of strong talent is up, and demand is up. But the job market is broken, inefficient. So, invest in people for the time you have them. Coach them to be their best even if that’s just 2-3 years and create an environment they want to stay in. If today’s discussion is any indication, 2026 will belong to organizations that: • Treat IT as a value-creating business function • Build strong data foundations for AI • Lead change in partnership with the business • Invest deeply in people and leadership development Here's to a great #2026! Project Brilliant #momentum

🚀 We're seeing more teams tackle AWS Connect vs Avius AI head-to-head for enterprise cloud voice transformations. Because of that, we thought we would share this comparison - both are outstanding solutions, just optimized for different priorities. From a feature standpoint, the two platforms overlap on basic requirements - handling calls, routing them, and integrating with business systems - but they differ in how much "AI" they put in the loop by default. Key difference? If you already rely heavily on AWS across your stack, Connect's native integration is unbeatable - you get seamless Lambda, S3, IAM flows without vendor silos. AWS Connect excels as a battle-tested CCaaS leader: rock-solid global scale, omnichannel support, and effortless fit into your existing cloud environment. Avius AI is equally impressive for AI-first teams, delivering cutting-edge autonomous voice agents that handle complex conversations naturally and drive massive efficiency through end-to-end automation. AWS Connect gives you a robust digital contact center; Avius AI gives you AI "staff" that happen to talk on the phone while executing workflows for you. Both platforms ditch legacy headaches for modern, scalable communications. Hybrid strategy: Already heavily invested in AWS? Start AWS Connect → pilot Avius AI on high-ROI call types. Perfect for ops leaders modernizing multi-office communications.

The Margin Gap is live on Substack today. A series on the commercial mechanics of margin erosion in technology services deals - built for CFOs, COOs, CEOs, and PE operating partners who have had the variance conversation one too many times. The founding piece makes the case: the gap between forecasted and delivered margin isn’t created in delivery. It’s created before signature, in the commercial architecture of the deal, at the moments when discipline held or broke. It’s structural. And it’s solvable. Read the founding piece. Link in comments.

April 23 NYC: Sales Culture—Designed or Default? I had the opportunity to partner with Executives' Association of New York City to bring this session to life, representing Vistage Worldwide, Inc., Inc.. EANYC members got a real feel for what a Vistage meeting looks like—peer-driven, practical, and powered by world-class speakers like the incomparable Morné Smit CEO of EMERSE Sales. His message was clear: Most sales cultures are accidental—and that’s why teams underperform. • Leadership behavior drives results • Process beats talent • Consistency comes from systems, not hope The value? Immediate, actionable takeaways leaders can apply right away. Is your sales culture designed—or default?
