Dylan Patel reposted thisDylan Patel reposted thisIf you've fallen down the AI rabbit hole, you've probably come across SemiAnalysis, founded by Dylan Patel. He’s technology’s trusted source on semiconductors, GPU’s, and the infrastructure powering AI. So naturally, I asked him the internet's burning questions & he gets into: AI taking our jobs, data centers, AI doom, the "permanent underclass," and why he's actually optimistic about where all of this is headed. Q: Why shouldn’t we be scared of AI? A: So I think everyone's scared of AI because they're afraid that AI is going to take their jobs & cause this massive wealth divide. But really, AI is doing the opposite. Everyone who's a blue-collar worker was really screwed over in the last four or five decades in America. And now AI is making a lot more demand for electricians, plumbers, people in construction. The blue-collar worker's actually winning. It's people who have white-collar jobs who are scared of losing out because they have a "fake email job" much like myself. But I think they shouldn't be afraid of that. They should be excited that fellow Americans are going to get to make more money because they have actual things to build. Everyone's jobs also seem to be a lot easier with AI now. So I don't think people should be scared. I think people should be excited that everyone's life is easier, & they get paid more. Q: What's one piece of advice you have for somebody who wants to do what you do? A: I think the best way is just to follow your passions, right? Very cliche answer, but for a long time I was considered a weirdo. Still am, but I think for a long time, no one really understood why I was so obsessed with the stuff I'm obsessed with. And I think still people question it. But you should just do what you're obsessed with. Q: What is your most controversial take about all of this? A: Going back to your first question, why is everyone so pessimistic? I feel like everyone is very pessimistic about, oh, AI is going to take our jobs, or pollute the water, the air & all this sort of stuff because of people building data centers. But actually, I'm quite optimistic in that next year AI adoption is going to be huge & the economy's not going to lose jobs. We're actually going to be gaining jobs. Nominal GDP growth will be ~5%. And unemployment will be lower than it is today. And so despite all the fears, I actually think AI will lead to people being more fulfilled in their lives because they have jobs, the economy's growing, there's more abundance for everyone to split. All these people in San Francisco think if they don't work really hard & don't have fun, they'll escape the "permanent underclass", which is a really stupid concept. Everyone will be fine, things will be great & humanity gets better every generation. 📌 Follow along for more. 📨 Where tech, money, & culture meet: jaiyagill.com #AI #Technology #ArtificialIntelligence #Semiconductors #FutureOfWork

Dylan Patel shared thisExcited to announce the SemiAnalysis Teardown Engineering & Evaluation Lab (STEEL) We have been building a state-of-the-art teardown lab in Oregon with $10s of millions Capex being spent capable of analyzing the world’s most advanced and important chips and process technologies over the last year and half. We have already generated revenue on advanced datacenter chip teardowns. This is a bit of inconvenient timing for TechInsights as they are private equity owned and currently being sold while having enjoyed virtually no credible competition for decades. This has led to TechInsights underinvesting in CAPEX. SemiAnalysis exceeds TechInsights in revenue despite no venture or private equity ownership and being founded only 6 years ago. Because we have no external investors and are founder led, we move faster, build faster, and we can release client chip teardowns for free regularly, while focusing on datacenter for our major clients. STEEL has a state of the art fleet of tools. We are less than a year and half into the journey here, but our goal is to be number 1 just like we are in AI, Datacenter, and Semiconductor market data, consulting, and technical analysis. Our largest customers which, include all of the hyperscalers and world's largest semiconductor companies, are excited for us to shake up the market.Dylan Patel shared thisIs SMIC N+3’s Metal Pitch Smaller than Intel 18A’s? Dylan Patel liked thisDylan Patel liked thisThe news that SemiAnalysis acquired Citrini Research made me think back to when I first met Dylan Patel in 2022, when he was still essentially a solo analyst. I also had the chance to help him compile a RISC-V market report. What he has built since then is impressive. To me, Dylan’s real strength is not just understanding complex semiconductor technology, but translating it into plain language that investors and executives can actually use. That helped SemiAnalysis fill a real gap between deep technical knowledge and market analysis. It is also a great example of how a younger generation can break into an industry traditionally dominated by decades of experience—not by knowing more than every veteran, but by seeing a gap the established industry overlooked. Congratulations to Dylan and the SemiAnalysis team. What SemiAnalysis Got Right About Market IntelligenceWhat SemiAnalysis Got Right About Market IntelligenceBondan Rufen

Salesforce AIforce is designed to bring governed CRM data, workflows and actions into Claude, Slack and other AI interfaces. The interface is the visible part. The permission path is the important part. Salesforce says every request uses existing permissions and business rules, and that actions route back through Salesforce. It also describes the system as using Zero Data Retention. Those are the right enterprise design goals, but buyers still need to test field-level security, sharing rules, connected systems, prompt injection, data residency and whether generated views expose combinations of information that were never visible on a conventional screen. There is also a naming detail worth separating from the launch: Headless 360 was renamed AIforce before the announcement. The new story is the initial set of experiences, including Claudeforce, Slackforce and Agentforce Coworker. Salesforce in Claude is available in beta, not general availability. Our guide follows one request from question to action and provides a practical rollout checklist. https://lnkd.in/e7VRWtkV #Salesforce #ClaudeAI #EnterpriseAI

There is a harder version of your point sitting in CNBC's floor reporting from the same event. Salesforce does not run Agentforce on Claude Fable 5.1 or GPT-6 Astra either. Owning the deployment layer only pays if the layer is boring and stable, and that means deliberately staying a generation back. Nice and Nagarro said the same thing out loud.

Why More RIAs Are Choosing Salesforce Over Wealthtech Solutions Wealthtech customer relationship management (CRM) platforms like Redtail or Advyzon are great — until they aren’t. As your firm grows, rigid workflows, limited integrations, and siloed data slow you down. That’s why high-performing firms are switching to Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC). With customizable workflows, deep integration capabilities, and enterprise-grade automation, Salesforce isn’t just a CRM — it’s a strategic growth platform. If you’re weighing Salesforce CRM vs wealthtech, it’s time to look beyond checklists and ask: ➡️ Will this platform scale with my business? ➡️ Can it help me personalize client experiences? ➡️ Is my data working for me — or against me? At ShellBlack, we help registered investment advisors (RIAs) turn Salesforce into a competitive advantage. #Salesforce Flagged as Durable Software Leader Amid Industry Slowdown Fears - Software heavyweight CRM (Salesforce) is being highlighted by market experts as a durable corporate enterprise franchise even as concerns rise over a broader, sector-wide slowdown. Outlook: CRM (Salesforce) is increasingly viewed as a trusted and secure foundational platform for corporate artificial intelligence deployments. Rather than being bypassed or replaced by automated technologies, the company is successfully protecting its primary revenue pipeline and stabilizing its long-term business valuation model within the evolving enterprise software market.

Salesforce is acquiring Fin(Intercom) for approximately $3.6 b Salesforce is acquiring AI customer service platform Fin for approximately $3.6 billion, marking another major bet on agentic AI as enterprise software companies race to expand autonomous digital worker capabilities. The deal will strengthen Salesforce’s Agentforce platform, adding Fin’s AI-powered customer support technology, which handles interactions across channels including chat, email, phone, messaging apps, and workplace collaboration tools. The acquisition comes as software providers face growing pressure to adapt to rapid advances in AI. With competition intensifying around agentic systems, Salesforce is using M&A to deepen its position in a market increasingly focused on automation, efficiency, and enterprise AI deployment at scale. Salesforce acquired the Berlin-based headless CMS vendor Contentful just a few weeks ago.

Most AI projects do not fail because of the model!!!! They fail because the AI has no real memory of the business it is supposed to help. That is why this new update from Salesforce on Informatica joining the Salesforce Data 360 portfolio caught my attention and yesterday got a chance to hear from amazing leaders like Krish Vitaldevara, Chief Product Officer, Informatica, and Rahul Auradkar, EVP & GM, Unified Data Services, Data 360 & AI Foundations, Salesforce. #sponsored It is about fixing the data problem first and giving AI a real foundation to work from. In simple terms, here is what is happening. Salesforce is bringing together: -- Data 360 as the place where customer and business data comes together -- MuleSoft as the way to connect data and systems across the enterprise -- Informatica as the engine that cleans, understands, and governs that data All of this then feeds Agentforce, Salesforce’s AI agent platform. So instead of agents working on isolated data from one app, they get a shared, trusted view of customers, products, suppliers, policies, and more. Why I think this is a game changer 1. It gives AI “trusted context” Right now, many AI agents see data as random fields and IDs. With Salesforce + Informatica, those pieces of data are linked into real business objects. A customer ID is tied to real orders, payments, issues, and preferences. That context is what lets agents reason instead of guess. 2. It moves AI from pilots to production A lot of teams are stuck in proof of concepts because they cannot trust their data or explain how AI made a decision. Data 360 plus Informatica’s quality and governance means you can trace where data came from, how it was transformed, and whether it is allowed to be used. That is what enterprises need before they turn agents loose on real work. 3. It connects IT, data, and business teams This foundation sits across integration, metadata, and governance, not in a single silo. So architects, data teams, and business leaders can work from the same picture instead of stitching together tools on their own. That reduces duplicate work and speeds up how fast new use cases go live. 4. It prepares companies for digital labor As we move into an agentic enterprise world, agents will not just answer questions. They will update records, trigger workflows, and coordinate across systems. For that, they must understand how the business works and what they are allowed to do. A unified data foundation like this is what makes that safe and reliable. For me, this announcement is not just another product integration. It is a signal that AI in the enterprise is shifting from “try a chatbot on top of messy data” to “build a solid data and context layer first, then scale agents with confidence.” Check out the comment to learn more about the news!!!! #Data #AI #SalesforcePartner #ad #Informatica #Agents #DataGovernance #Salesforce #TheRavitShow

Grateful to have had this conversation with Jeff Ignacio on The RevOps Review 🙏 The Tool Gateway Principle resonates deeply - the goal isn't to give agents everything, it's to give them exactly what they need. If you're building GTM systems with AI in the mix, this one's worth a listen.
