Understanding Stablecoins: A Framework for Digital Transformation Paper Link: https://lnkd.in/gfSkhSnv Prof. Luyao Zhang, Ph.D.'s work "SoK: Stablecoins for Digital Transformation" provides a very structural view of how stablecoins are changing the digital economy. Today, their total capitalization has already exceeded $230 billion, and the role of these instruments is becoming increasingly obvious. What is important: - The authors propose a unified taxonomy, where stablecoins are classified by the type of custody, stabilization mechanism and governance model. - A system of metrics is introduced to evaluate the performance of stablecoins - convenient for regulators, developers and users. - A case study on the tokenization of real assets shows how stablecoins can facilitate cross-border transactions and create a more flexible monetary infrastructure. - Directions for future research are set: stakeholder interaction, multi-goal design, the use of AI to evaluate ecosystems. What's next? It is likely that in a few years, stablecoins will become an infrastructural element of digital finance, and not just a “convenient dollar on the blockchain”. We may see: - a combination of AI + stablecoins, where algorithms will manage liquidity and predict demand; - an increasing role of stablecoins in the tokenization of #RWA (real estate, bonds, commodities); - a balance between private stablecoins and CBDCs, which will determine the global financial order. Non-USD denominated stablecoins are still in their infancy, but the use cases are clear, argues Omid Scheybani, VP of Partnerships at Conduit The core challenge currently is a lack of liquidity, which is downstream from a lack of guidance on the regulatory side. By offering free API access, Grok Code (xAI) has overtaken Sonnet (Anthropic) as the primary model for AI programming on open router (used by Cline , Roo Code, etc) garnering 2.51T tokens this past months. The core themes coming out of GTC - token economics, system-level orchestration, and the rise of agentic systems - signal changes in how AI is built, deployed, and monetized. And they carry ripple effects across the entire innovation ecosystem. For hyperscalers and cloud providers, the AI factory formalizes a shift that’s already underway: the end of the general-purpose, commodity data center. Traditional data centers are designed to run any workload on standardized hardware. But AI’s massive power and performance requirements are driving the rise of specialized infrastructure - purpose-built for performance-per-watt. NVIDIA’s roadmap - featuring liquid cooling, rack-scale design, and co-packaged optics - is as much about energy as it is about silicon. As NVIDIA’s vertically integrated stack continues to expand, cloud providers will need to move up the value chain. Differentiation will shift from raw compute to orchestration, integration, and developer experience. Enterprises will prioritize infrastructure that supports multi-model systems, integrates cleanly into their stack, and accelerates time-to-production. 🔍 From Blockchain Novice to On-Chain Detective: My Deep Dive into Digital Forensics 🕵️‍♂️ Lately, I have been exploring the world of copy trading 📈, which brought me to a basic question: "How do you actually view, understand and glean actionable insights from on chain wallet information" 🤔. As in all things on-chain, the answer was at once simple in concept and quite complicated in execution!! The Simple Concept: The Four-Layer Revelation Every blockchain transaction is actually four different stories told simultaneously: 🔍 Transaction Hash: The receipt (what officially happened) ⚙️ Method Analysis: The intent (what was supposed to happen) 💰 Token Transfers: The reality (what actually moved) 🏦 Internal Transactions: The implementation (how it technically happened) Think of it like investigating a crime scene where you have the police report, witness statements, security footage, AND the criminal's diary 📋. Sometimes they all match. Sometimes... they don't. 🤨 The Complicated Part: The "Aha!" Moments: 🔓 Function Call Decoding Breakthrough: Understanding that transaction input data like 0x7ff36ab500......45785d8a0000 actually breaks down into: • 0x7ff36ab5 = swapExactETHForTokens() method ID 🆔 • Next 32 bytes = minimum tokens expected (amountOutMin) 📊 • Following bytes = encoded array of token addresses (swap path) 🛤️ • Plus recipient address and deadline timestamp ⏰ 🎫 The Nonce Discovery: That 💡 moment when I realized why my transactions sometimes failed - the nonce is like a ticket number system! Address sends transaction #34 ➡️ #35 ➡️ #36. Try to send #37 before #36 completes? Rejected ❌. This might be the most important thing you read today. Eventually, every brand will transact via their own stablecoins, providing a better customer, employee , partner experience and saving billions in transaction fees and other overhead in the process. Banks have them (jpm coin). Brands will have them. Apple, Meta and Google must have their plans already developed. It’s about time finance was modernized.
