We need to migrate our existing blockchains that use ECDSA towards a quantum-robust method. One key feature is the ability to recover the public key from the signature - PKR (Public Key Recovery), and which ECDSA currently uses. This means that we do not need to store the associated public key on the blockchain, as it can be recovered from the signature and checked against an account ID. Unfortunately, ML-DSA (aka Dilithium) cannot be used to perform public key recovery from the signature due to its construction. But, FN-DSA (Falcon), provides the opportunity for PKR (Public Key Recovery). The one problem is that Falcon-PKR is not a current NIST standard: https://lnkd.in/ean-QGim
