Hook: “Robots just leveled up — and we’re here for it” NVIDIA’s latest drop — Isaac GR00T N1 (and now N1.6) with the new open-source Newton physics engine — feels like a milestone. A humanoid that can reason, simulate, and adapt? This is the kind of thing that used to live in sci-fi. On one hand, it breaks many barriers for robotics R&D. On the other, I wonder how fast real-world deployment will catch up given safety, cost, regulation. From USA minds this is “future is here,” from Asia it’s “how will we build on it,” from Europe — “show me use cases.” I, personally, see this as the seed of a new era: generalist robots not as toys but as collaborators.
