Today we’re launching Transfr Train — XR-based, multimodal programs that move people from curiosity to career confidence. The labor market is changing faster than ever. Ability isn’t the issue; access and clear pathways are. Our job at @Transfr is to build the talent infrastructure that connects education to employment. What’s new (and why it matters): Financial literacy and budgeting games in Transfr Trek — helping learners connect career choices to real-world economics. Expanded exploration — 150+ careers, 50 interactive VR sims, and pathways history so educators can guide evolving interests. Fundamental Skills Program — 70 VR simulations across safety, math & measurement, material handling, hand tools, power tools, and electrical fundamentals. Structured Pre-Employment Programs — 20-hour prep with microcredentials and a certificate of completion (e.g., Construction Laborer; Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician). 350+ curriculum resources — lesson plans and activities mapped to ACTE clusters to plug seamlessly into CTE. Early results are encouraging: pilots show stronger engagement and learning retention, and one program achieved a 55% job placement rate. This is how we compress time-to-readiness and widen the on-ramps to good jobs. For high-stakes professional training, the standard for realism has to be much higher than just "good enough." Perfect visual fidelity is what builds true muscle memory and the ability to recognize the subtle, critical details that define expertise. When a simulation is that authentic, the skills learned become deeply ingrained and far more transferable to the real world. This is why the research into passing the "Visual Turing Test" isn't just about making VR look better; it’s about making training more powerful, especially where the stakes are highest. https://lnkd.in/e_fWyjD3

I am really excited to spotlight MuJoCo Playground, a fully open-source framework that makes robot learning accessible, fast, and interactive. The Playground enables learners to: - Train locomotion on a single GPU. - Experiment with quadrupeds, humanoids, and robotic arms. - Achieve zero-shot sim-to-real transfer, moving seamlessly from simulation to hardware. I’m thrilled to be co-leading the two-day Agile Certificate Program with Anthony Reisinger, M.Ed. at #DevLearn, hosted by The Learning Guild. This pre-conference certificate workshop is designed specifically for learning design and development teams (not software developers) so we focus on what #Agile really means for the work we do in #LnD.   Over two hands-on, minds-on days, we’ll cover: - The Agile mindset and why it matters for learning professionals - How to kick off projects for success using Agile methods - Practical planning and estimating techniques to keep projects on track - Building the right environment to make Agile thrive in your organization   And here’s my advice to make the most of your experience: 1️⃣ Bring your own project.
