I returned as a first-time working mom, stepping into one of the biggest operational moments in SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park history. I learned how to lead meetings between feeding schedules, balance business reviews with bedtime routines, and trust my village (shoutout to the grandmas). Then the calendar took off. Monster Jam wrapped. Two days later, FIFA moved in. My son turned six months old. We started solids. He started crawling. Then, SoFi Stadium hosted its first FIFA World Cup match. That same day, my son turned seven months old. While hundreds of thousands of fans were creating memories inside the stadium, we were also celebrating first teeth, first stand-ups, first falls, and all the little (big) moments. And this week, FIFA packed up, handed the building back, and one unforgettable chapter came to a close. The turnaround? Immediate. Hard Summer moves in. Ed Sheeran follows. Then three nights of Karol G. Three days later, the stages will come down. The turf comes back. NFL season. The Chargers return. The Rams return. Over the next six months, our team will host 19 NFL games, welcome 17+ global concerts and live events to SoFi Stadium, support a 24/7 retail and entertainment destination, and produce nearly 40 shows at YouTube Theater, all while preparing for Super Bowl LXI. And right in the middle of all of it... My son turns one. This season taught me that leadership and motherhood have more in common than I ever imagined. Both require resilience. Both require ruthless prioritization and presence. Both ask you to give your best to the people counting on you. One day, I hope my son reads this and knows that while the world may remember the events, I will always remember watching him grow through every one of them.

Our job was to uncover that cultural white space. We found it in one simple truth: RVers call it luck, but the best moments on the road aren't luck at all, they're the result of preparation, protection, and community. "It's Not Just Good Luck. It's Good Sam." is not just a declaration – it’s the brand’s new platform. Huge thanks to Dave Janszen and Jeremy Busch for trusting us to help shape the next chapter for this American icon and Chelsea Slayter and afterhrs. for brilliantly bringing it to life. https://lnkd.in/g6JPB3_E

"Can we get a big one in the first five minutes?" Matt Damon recently explained how the "old way" of filmmaking is being disrupted by our devices and streaming: “The standard way to make an action movie, that we learned, was you usually have three set pieces. One in the first act, one in the second, one in the third — and the big one with all the explosions, and you spend most of your money on that one in the third act. That’s your kind of finale. Now, [Netflix is] like, ‘Can we get a big one in the first five minutes?’ We want people to stay tuned in. And it wouldn’t be terrible if you reiterated the plot three or four times in the dialogue because people are on their phones while they’re watching.” This type of shift is also the opportunity for marketing to evolve. Marketers used to benefit from a lean-back, persuasive experience. Brands told a story and consumers (hopefully) go along for the ride. But that benefit has eroded. Like Hollywood, marketers may not have the benefit of building toward an "Act 3" climax. We are competing against everything else that is simultaneously trying to win people’s attention, from phones and algorithms to family and friends, to a blurry break between work and life, to a general feeling of exhaustion and heaviness since COVID upended everything, and unpredictability has become an everyday reality. Successful marketing requires immediately winning attention and continually repeating and reinforcing ideas, patterns, and codes. It doesn’t mean creativity and The Big Idea are dead - in fact, they may be more important than ever. But how both are executed and supported has changed. How are you creating immediate wins and reinforcing over time? #MarketingStrategy #AttentionEconomy #ContentCreation #DigitalMarketing #Storytelling #advertising
