Organizations should ensure privacy by design, obtain meaningful consent, and explain AI decisions to customers. 💠 Measuring Personalization Impact: Measure customer lifetime value, engagement quality, trust indicators, and personalization effectiveness. 💠 The Future of Personalization: The future will involve hyper-contextual, emotionally intelligent, and AI-powered personalization. While much of the industry debates #layoffs versus aggressive hiring in the AI era, Bank of America has quietly followed a more sustainable path by keeping overall headcount largely stable while transforming from within. Instead of reacting with large-scale hiring or reductions, the Bank of America created pathways for employees to reskill and transition into emerging, critical roles. Many positions that would traditionally require external hiring were filled internally by people who already understood the business, culture, and systems. This approach not only preserved institutional knowledge but also gave employees real opportunities for growth and alignment. At the same time, the bank invested heavily in automation and AI to improve operational efficiency. Rather than using automation purely as a cost-cutting lever, it used it as a reallocation tool, freeing people from repetitive work and enabling them to contribute to higher-value, future-focused functions. The result is a model that balances technological advancement with human continuity. It maintains technical competitiveness and AI adoption while minimizing disruption to employees. I recently had the opportunity to share my perspective on what it really takes to make AI work at enterprise scale, and why context-driven leadership is becoming increasingly critical. Too often, enterprise AI efforts stall because the focus is narrowly placed on tools and infrastructure. While technology matters, how organizations share context, make decisions, and align people around outcomes ultimately determines whether AI delivers sustained business impact. Context engineering — the deliberate capture and operationalization of how work actually happens — goes beyond traditional process transformation. It enables AI systems to operate effectively within the complexity of real enterprises, where institutional knowledge, judgment, and nuance matter. An equally important part of this shift is embedding responsible governance into the operating model from the start. When transparency, accountability, and context are built in, organizations can increase speed without compromising trust.
