Chaya Fischman posted thisI’ve become the unofficial business consultant of the neighborhood. Whenever a kid comes up with a “million dollar business idea”, the parents send them to me. I sit them down on my couch, explain what I normally charge for such a meeting, offer them a snack and a drink, and then we talk business. We go through how businesses really work, and what separates a fun idea from a real opportunity. I never let them leave discouraged. We always come up with a new idea that actually fits their age and could genuinely make them money if they work hard. These might be some of my favorite consulting meetings.

Chaya Fischman posted thisLast night my husband asked if everyone’s faces were going to be showing during the webinar I was giving. I told him that no one would be able to see each other. Just me presenting. A little while later my 10 year old, who was very clearly listening to the entire conversation, looks up completely confused and says: “Wait… there are going to be hundreds of people there… and lot of little mechitzahs? “How does that make sense?” All fun aside, if you want a link to the recording and presentation shoot me a message and Ill send it over.

Chaya Fischman shared thisReferrals don’t close deals anymore. They open tabs. Someone hears your name… and the first thing they do is check if it holds up online. If your website, content, and presence don’t match the recommendation, you just lost a deal you never even saw. Marketing today isn’t about getting attention. It’s about confirming it. That’s where good work wins.

Chaya Fischman posted thisWe did a flower pot painting activity before Shavuos and you should have seen the precision from my designers. Perfect lines. Perfect spacing. Everything beautifully thought through. Meanwhile, I started… and somehow what was supposed to be a smiley face ended up as a cute little monster. Honestly, it explained a lot. My team are the people who execute things beautifully, exactly as intended, inside the lines. And I’m apparently the person running around making monsters and trying to reinvent the flower pot industry.

Chaya Fischman shared thisI thought I was advanced with AI. I use it constantly. Writing. Coding. Everything. Then I sat down with Mordy Eisenberg for an hour. Our company handles TapestryHealth marketing, and during a conversation he mentioned a completely different way of thinking about AI. I was fascinated. Using AI, Not as a tool. Not as an assistant. But as a thought partner. This led me to devour the teachings of Geoff Woods and honestly, it completely changed the way I operate as a business owner. I realized I had the whole thing backwards. Most people are using AI to help them execute faster. Very few are using it to think on a higher level. To challenge assumptions. Find blind spots. Pressure test decisions. Identify bottlenecks. Clarify strategy. Improve leadership. The shift this created for me was massive. On May 28th, I’ll be giving a webinar about what I learned, what I was missing, and how this completely changed the way I run my company. Because if you’re only using AI to save time, you’re missing the biggest opportunity entirely. Click here to RSVP: https://lnkd.in/efrGrw8G

Chaya Fischman liked thisChaya Fischman liked thisIf Nike marketed like a B2B brand… they’d be completely forgettable. And that should scare every B2B marketer. Because that’s exactly what most B2B brands sound like. A sea of “extra 3cm sole”-level feature lists and “87% of users agree” slides.(See pages 2–3 of the deck… it’s painfully accurate.) Here’s the uncomfortable truth: The best product rarely wins. The most memorable brand does. Nike gets this. They don’t talk about foam density, tread patterns, or midsole architecture. They talk about you. Your ambition. Your identity. Your story. (Page 6 shows it perfectly: “Find Your Greatness.” Not “Now with 12% improved cushioning.”) Meanwhile, B2B brands burn millions fighting battles that “aren’t worth fighting”, feature vs. feature, spec vs. spec, blending into a sea of sameness.(Page 7 visualizes it in one brutal image.) So here’s the punchline: Stop marketing like a category. Start marketing like a conviction. Because buyers don’t remember specs. They remember stories. They remember emotions. They remember the brand that made them feel something, even when products are nearly identical. So if your marketing sounds like everyone else’s? It’s not your product that’s the problem. It’s the story you’re telling. Curious: Which B2B brand today actually makes you feel something? _________ Shoutout to Martin Zarian for this awesome visual give him a follow ♻️ Repost to help others + Join 25k + people receiving tips via social and my free email newsletter, sign up here: https://lnkd.in/eRXtjQ_C

Chaya Fischman liked thisChaya Fischman liked thisZohran Mamdani’s message to Jews isn’t new. It’s a 234-year-old bargain: “To the Jews as individuals, everything. To the Jews as a nation, nothing.” That was the promise of emancipation in Revolutionary France: you can succeed, belong, even thrive… as long as your Jewish identity disappears. Mamdani’s worldview follows the same pattern. Celebrate the Jew who assimilates into your ideology. Reject the Jew who stands proudly as part of a people, a history, and a nation. It’s the same contradiction as loving American culture while despising America itself. Jews have seen this before. Acceptance conditioned on surrender is not tolerance. It’s erasure. That’s why showing up at the Israel Day Parade matters. It’s a declaration that we are not merely individual Jews seeking acceptance. We are one people, bound by a shared history, destiny, and homeland. In a time when many would prefer Jews divided and isolated, we demonstrate something more powerful: We are stronger together. And honestly, this might be one of the most important parts of the entire industry. Because the most dangerous part of a playground usually is not the equipment. It’s the ground beneath it. Most people think about playground flooring as just mulch or colors underneath the swings. In reality, that surface is what stands between a child and a serious injury. Mulch shifts. Rubber wears down. High traffic areas thin out. Drainage changes impact protection over time. The playground still looks safe. But underneath, the protection may no longer be doing its job. That’s why we’re now offering: Poured in place rubber Playground mulch Turf systems School and park surfacing Commercial and residential recreational flooring Not just to make playgrounds look better. To make them safer. Because safety is not just about what kids play on. It’s also about what they land on. Comment Flooring for a PDF of all our flooring options

Chaya Fischman liked thisChaya Fischman liked thisSomething felt off in my marriage the past few days. At first, I took it personally. I thought my wife was mad at me. I started resenting the feeling of being rejected. I brought it up to my Rabbi. He told me, “Create a low-pressure opportunity for communication.” I came home and asked her gently, “Do you want to talk?” As soon as we sat down, I realized I had the wrong agenda. She didn’t need fixing. She needed space to vent. She told me she hadn’t been sleeping well and was feeling overwhelmed. I just listened. She apologized for “complaining.” I told her, “No. I’m happy you’re sharing. I thought you were mad at me.” We both felt a weight lift. Lesson learned: Marriage isn’t easy. It requires humility, communication, and forgiveness. Why am I posting this on LinkedIn? Because this platform is full of people trying to grow, not just in business, but in life. If this helps one person navigate a relationship better, it’s worth sharing. ⸻ Shameless plug: The difference between employees and spouses is… you can let them go. Send me a message If you have someone on your team causing you grief, I can give you a few tools to make them succeed. If that doesn’t work, maybe it’s time to replace them with someone better. And with that, my recruiting firm can also help. Either way, send me a message we can help. I want to hear from you! ❤️

Many businesses invest in beautiful websites... But if that site isn’t connected to a strong CRM with automation, you're only winning half the game. Your website should do more than look good. It should *work for you* — even while you sleep. 📈 A powerful CRM with automation transforms your website into an engine for growth: - Captures leads in real time - Sends personalized responses automatically - Follows up without forgetting - Nurtures customer relationships at scale Building trust and driving revenue doesn't have to be manual — it can start the moment someone clicks Contact Us. Here’s where websites often fall short: They get attention but no action. They collect data but don't follow up. They have traffic but not traction. 🧠 Want to break that cycle? Make sure your CRM talks to your website. And make your automation human. A smart system behind the scenes creates space for you to focus on what really matters: meaningful connections and sustainable growth. 💬 It’s not just about tech — it’s about aligning your business with your customer journey. Is your website doing that? Let's talk.

Building a high-converting website section hinges on one key element: social proof. Showcasing data, user numbers, and compelling testimonials isn't just about aesthetics; it's about building trust and demonstrating value. A clear call to action then guides engaged visitors toward the desired outcome. Leveraging these elements strategically transforms passive browsers into active participants. #WebsiteDesign #DigitalMarketing #SocialProof #ConversionOptimization #ContentStrategy

Most businesses waste money on promotional products. They order what’s cheap. They choose what’s trendy. They don’t think about brand alignment. Promotional products should be: • Strategic • Intentional • On-brand • High-quality When chosen correctly, they: Strengthen brand perception Increase recall Create long-term visibility Reflect your professionalism At Barry Fresh Designs, we focus on selecting products your audience will actually use and keep — not toss. Because promotional items aren’t just giveaways. They’re brand touchpoints. If you’re investing in promo this year, make sure it reflects the level of your business.

THE SMALL BUSINESS OWNER’S DILEMMA One of the biggest challenges small businesses face is balancing short-term ROI with long-term growth. As a small business, your budget is usually limited, and your hope is that every marketing dollar will generate immediate results in the form of leads, sales, and new customers. I understand why you feel that way, but when a business focuses too heavily on chasing quick results, it can struggle to build brand strength over the long term. Over time, the business becomes increasingly dependent on direct-response advertising costs that continue to rise and leads that dry up quickly. They may also have to undercut their prices or even explore manipulative marketing tactics to make a quick sale. This becomes even harder in industries where purchasing decisions are driven by trust, credibility and familiarity. When people do not know who you are or why they should trust you, or choose you out of hundreds of other options, immediate results become harder and even more expensive to achieve. The challenge is that many of the things that drive meaningful and sustainable growth do not produce instant results. By growth, i'm not talking about growing a ton of inactive followers that don't even see or engage with your content. Im talking about building things like Reputational Capital. Emotional Resonance. Brand Relevance, Brand Equity, and Perceived Credibility. These things may not seem to pay the bills now, but they deeply influence how people remember, trust, and choose a brand over time. This is how legacy brands are truly built. These factors are harder to measure directly and take a lot of time and effort to build. But small businesses still need revenue, cash flow, and customers now. This creates a difficult tension: Focus too heavily on chasing short-term profits, and the small business may still struggle to build lasting brand strength after many years. Focus too heavily on long-term brand building, and the small business may run out of budget (and patience) before the results even materialize. For small businesses, balancing both is not easy. But long-term growth often requires finding ways to support immediate business needs while still investing in the long-term strength of the brand. #brandingforsmallbusiness #brandingstrategy #digitalmarketing

Website design often overlooks the power of simplicity. Focus on a clear H1 statement that immediately communicates value. Understand YMYL (Your Money Your Life) guidelines, especially now that AI is indexing and prioritizing websites based on trustworthiness and expertise. Simplicity isn't just aesthetics; it's about clarity, trust, and effective communication.

Great service builds reputation — but your marketing materials set expectations before the first conversation. Clients look for clarity, consistency, and professionalism. Your marketing materials help answer the question, “Can I trust this business?” 🤔❓ Purposeful design paired with quality materials reinforces that trust. This includes everything from the words you choose to your logo, colors, fonts, photos, and the actual paper/substrate you print on. 🎯 If your materials don’t reflect the quality of your work, let’s fix that: https://zurl.co/7bhEO (link in bio) #ServiceBusiness #ContractorMarketing #GraphicDesign #PrintShop #ChampaignIL #CUBusiness #SupportLocal217
