As a consultant, I designed the transition of the organization to non-profit operations. At the founding meeting of the Board that I facilitated, my role as a consultant ended and the Board honored me with their selection as a founding Board member.
During my time on the Board of Directors, I've been involved with many aspects of how GRAPE operates including fund development, financial reporting, and board development. -

At the Historic Ironwood Theatre, a non-profit community center for the performing arts that offers brings both local and international talent to the stage, I served on the Board of Directors and volunteered extensively. The Board worked to develop an action plan and establish long-term goals for the Theatre. At the Historic Ironwood Theatre, a non-profit community center for the performing arts that offers brings both local and international talent to the stage, I served on the Board of Directors and volunteered extensively. The Board worked to develop an action plan and establish long-term goals for the Theatre. My role focused on establishing in-house programming to better attract area talent, especially children, to become more active at the Theatre. I was also involved in programming and marketing.
Additional work included:
• Developed and implemented a traditional and social media marketing effort, including press releases, programs, posters, social media announcements, emails, and Wikipedia pages.
• Directed H.I.T. Idol, a two-night American Idol-style show where American Idol finalist Matt Giraud performed.
• Elected and served as the founding chair of the In-House Productions Committee to establish shows with local talent.
• Initiated a major overall of official non-profit bylaws to reflect the Theatre’s mission and current practices.
• Served on the Board of Directors Executive Committee that oversees the day-to-day Theatre operations.

NetWork 2 NewWork is a premiere orchestrated networking event that brings together community leaders, business colleagues, and individuals exploring career transition to meet new friends, learn new professional skills, and promote economic success in our community.
The Programming Committee plans, organizes, and operates NetWork 2 NewWork and the events are staffed entirely by volunteers. As of May 2013, more than 30 volunteers have logged more than 2,000 hours of work in the since the…NetWork 2 NewWork is a premiere orchestrated networking event that brings together community leaders, business colleagues, and individuals exploring career transition to meet new friends, learn new professional skills, and promote economic success in our community.
The Programming Committee plans, organizes, and operates NetWork 2 NewWork and the events are staffed entirely by volunteers. As of May 2013, more than 30 volunteers have logged more than 2,000 hours of work in the since the first NetWork 2 NewWork took place in July 2012.
