Greg Barton reposted thisGreg Barton reposted thisI'm excited about our expanded partnership with Adobe. This collaboration is a natural fit for us and our customers. We're bringing the power of Google's foundational AI - like Gemini, Veo, and Imagen - directly into the creative tools millions love, including Firefly, Photoshop, Express, and Premiere. This means customers can leverage these models via Adobe GenStudio and customize them with Adobe Firefly Foundry for truly brand-specific content generation at scale. At Google Cloud, our focus is simple: helping customers move beyond experimentation and into high-impact, measurable AI adoption. This partnership supports that by embedding our AI into the creative workflows people already know and trust. We're no longer asking "if" AI will transform creativity, but "how quickly"—and with Adobe, we're speeding up the industry's ability to achieve valuable, AI-powered creative changes. https://lnkd.in/gbcaBsWR David Wadhwani Granville Valentine Ersin Yumer

Here's how Gemini Enterprise can help you take the lead: First, upload proprietary trend and purchase data. Then, Gemini will instantly create a strategic media plan, transform the plan into a presentation, draft a Calendar invite for the team review, and execute the send as directed by you and your team. The expanded Google Cloud and Salesforce partnership will allow Salesforce customers to choose to run on Google Cloud. The subheadline in Bloomberg says it all – “The contract, worth $2.5 billion, is emblematic of how big tech companies are forging alliances to offer a broader menu of AI products.” Big congrats to the whole team that worked on this, including Keith Inouye, Ryan Turnbull, Josh Zeiser, Matthew Dolev, Greg Barton, Mark Hedley, Matthew Choate, Kevin Attwood, Jeff Nuzum, Seth Siciliano, Rodrigo Rocha, Alia Vice, Mohsen Malik, and Rachel Ball. https://lnkd.in/eJSTNTTRGoogle Wins Salesforce Cloud Deal in Bid to Counter MicrosoftGoogle Wins Salesforce Cloud Deal in Bid to Counter Microsoft

As more work moves through AI agents, trusted and complete context matters. So does keeping data governed and connected without duplicating it across systems. This is a strong nod to the role zero-copy integration plays in making enterprise AI more practical. Congratulations to the team on both sides that made this happen! Greg Barton liked thisGreg Barton liked thisI'm thrilled to share that I recently joined Anthropic as Head of Mega Accounts. I've spent my career helping large organizations unlock real value from technology, and few moments in that journey have felt as significant as this one. AI is reshaping how companies operate, and Anthropic is building it in a way that's rare in this industry - powerful capability paired with genuine responsibility. What drew me here is simple. Anthropic doesn't see safety and scale as a trade-off. It shows up in the research priorities, in how the models get shipped, and in how we partner with our customers. That consistency is what builds trust at scale. This is just the beginning, and I'm excited to work with some of the world's most innovative organizations as they navigate this shift, and to help ensure that as AI scales, it scales responsibly.

Greg Barton liked thisGreg Barton liked thisThank you to all the Googlers and partners who have made the last 4+ years so special. It's a bittersweet post to write as I am turning in my badge (I get to keep the shoes of course) and saying goodbye to the best company I've worked for so far! To no surprise to anyone who has met me, I loved being a Googler and always strived to be as Googley as I could be. Since Google's inception, I have always admired its mission and the incredible products they build. Google also is "employee obsessed" and takes care of Googlers like few other companies do. It's a difficult decision to leave a company as incredible as Google. I'll share more about my new role in a few weeks. For now, a sincere thank you to the amazing Googlers and partners I worked with. This includes the 5 amazing managers I’ve had ( Dai Vu, Stephen Orban, Rodrigo Rocha, Seth Siciliano, and Casey McGee) and the 14 Googlers I’ve have the honor of managing ( Archi Damania, Airlee Gigun, Brian Fedor, Chris Colyer, Colleen Adira, Daniel Mudimbe, James Danner, Kelly Boeckman, Preston Moore, Renato Iwersen, Rodney Sloan, Scott Duby, and Vince Bryant). There are too many others to mention - so to all the other Googlers - thank you for the incredible memories.

Greg Barton liked thisGreg Barton liked thisA few days ago I announced that I was returning to Salesforce. Today it became real. Walking into the Chicago office, meeting new teammates, hearing the conversations, and seeing the momentum around Agentforce firsthand gave me a completely different perspective. This isn't simply the next release of Sales Cloud. It feels like a fundamental shift in how companies will operate. For years, CRM has been about helping people manage customer relationships. Now we're entering an era where AI agents can work alongside people to automate work, augment decision making, and fundamentally change how businesses engage customers. That changes the conversation with executives. It changes the value we can bring. And for someone who has spent a career hunting new business and, more recently, obsessing over how AI can create competitive advantage, it feels like I've arrived at exactly the right place at exactly the right time. One thing that stood out today was the people. Smart, welcoming, energized, and genuinely excited about where we're headed. Time to get to work!

Greg Barton liked thisGreg Barton liked thisAfter 14 incredible years at Salesforce, I’ve decided to step away from day-to-day leadership as Chief engineering and customer success officer. I will continue to be an advisor to the CEO for the next year to fully transition my responsibilities. It is hard to overstate how much Salesforce has meant to me and my family. It has been the highlight of my career and the honor of a lifetime. I joined when we were a $2B company and the mobile revolution just started with the iPhone. We are going to end this financial year at more than $46B dollars as per our guidance. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of leading our technology, customer success, professional services, and South Asia business units over the years. Helping them grow and thrive has been a tremendous experience. A huge thank you to Marc and Parker for continually placing their trust in me over the years, and to the Board, Marc's Leadership Team, and my extended leadership team for their passion, partnership, and for living our values day in and day out. To my colleagues across every team: thank you for making this the best 14 years of my career. The send off at Laulima is something I will always cherish and I’ll always be cheering for this Ohana and congratulate and wish the new leadership the very best. To all our trailblazers , you are one of the main reasons Salesforce is successful and it has been a honor meeting you especially at TDX, DF, TruetothexCore, and a number of other events. And to our customers thank you for trusting us with your transformations. Your success has always been the driving force and watching you navigate change, especially the shift into the agentic era, has been the most rewarding part of this journey. Thank you to everyone who reached out personally with your messages of support and advice. I’m going to take some time to reflect, recharge, and plan my next chapter. With deep gratitude, Srini 🙏🏽

AI is advancing faster than most organizations can comprehend. The question is no longer whether to adopt AI, but who will control it. Recent events serve as a wake-up call: we are entering largely uncharted territory. The exponential pace of AI demands action now, and ServiceNow is uniquely positioned to help organizations gain control. This is becoming increasingly important as governments introduce AI regulations and organizations must demonstrate that effective governance and controls are in place.

Salesforce Dreamforce 2026 key take away. AI represents a significant evolution in how businesses will leverage tech. We are moving from automation / assistance to intelligent systems capable of driving outcomes / making decisions, and supporting end-to-end processes. The question is no longer whether AI will change the way we work. The question is how quickly we can adapt and unlock its full potential. #Dreamforce #AI #AgenticAI #BusinessTransformation #Technology #FutureOfWork
