Our new two-part series explores why public sources like NVD/CVE fall short and how Flashpoint enables prioritization. Part 2, out today, analyzes our H1 2025 prioritized vulnerabilities, revealing key trends in exploit consequences, vendor exposure, and the importance of real-time intelligence. 📊 A few highlights from the first half of 2025: 🔸 By the time many vulnerabilities are made public, there is a high chance they are already being used in attacks. At the time of publishing, 𝟱𝟰% 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 had an exploit or were being exploited, possessed a high CVSS score, were remotely exploitable, affected a 'major' vendor, and had already been exploited in the wild. 🔸 The rapid lifecycle of weaponization of vulnerabilities highlights the need for threat-informed vulnerability prioritization. 𝗢𝗻 𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭 𝗱𝗮𝘆 for an exploit to become available from public vulnerability disclosure. This statistic applies to the vulnerabilities where both the disclosure date and the availability of exploits are known.
