We are not looking for someone who only wants to build greenfield products from scratch. We need an architect who thrives on the complexity of untangling legacy code, managing data consistency during migrations, and "strangling" a monolith while the business is running. You are a fit if: •You are a hands-on Principal IC who still writes code 50% of the time. •You are opinionated and drive technical strategy through clear, written RFCs and documentation. •You have successfully led a monolith-to-microservices migration at scale. •You do not rely on "Big Tech" internal platform tooling to be effective. Ruby on Rails and Elixir experience is preferred, but we are open to experts in Java, Go, or Python who have deep experience with distributed systems architecture. Creating better work isn’t an efficiency play alone, it’s focusing on the skills, capabilities and career paths for our teams, it’s designing workflows and orgs that thrive with automation. It’s meaningfully bringing teams along to drive engagement, innovation and adoption. AI might be the rallying call, but thoughtful design is our enabler. 2- AI will never replace community and connection. Having thoughtful exchanges and drawing from the wisdom and counsel of colleagues is truly what pushes our work forward. No AI tool will ever replace that. A woman can lead a project, a team or a company in the morning, support a client or colleague through a difficult moment at noon, run a few (or more) miles/kilometers after work, be there for her partner and family, help a child with homework in the evening, and still find the strength to reflect, grow, and start again the next day. Not because it is easy. But because growth is part of the journey. For many women, leadership is a path of constant growth. Learning to speak with clarity. Learning to hold responsibility for people and results. Learning to lead with both strength and empathy. Personal growth is not separate from leadership. It is the foundation of it. On International Women’s Day, I celebrate the women who lead, build, care, challenge themselves, and keep evolving — often all at the same time. Brave, not perfect. Happy International Women’s Day. 🌷
