Changing the Narrative: Women of Color in Leadership As we navigate the complexities of leadership in today's world, it's essential to recognize the power of narrative change, particularly for Women of Color in Leadership. The stories we tell about leadership shape our culture, influence perceptions, and ultimately determine who gets to lead. Why Change the Narrative? For too long, leadership narratives have been dominated by a narrow perspective that often overlooks the unique experiences and contributions of women of color. By changing this narrative, we can: 1. While I can't speak for all women, my experience has shown me that Black women face distinctly "unique" challenges in the workplace that many find hard to believe.
