Enable or disable auto drafting of AI-Assisted Messages in Recruiter for all users on a contract

Last updated: 3 months ago

As a LinkedIn Recruiter Product Settings and Account Center admin, you can manage AI auto draft settings for all users on your company contract. This setting allows you to enable or disable auto-drafting of AI-Assisted 1:1 messages, bulk messages, and touch-up messages.

When this setting is turned on, users on your contract can configure an account license level setting that allows them to enable or disable the following auto-draft settings for their own account:

  • Enable AI message auto-draft
  • Enable AI bulk message auto-draft
  • Enable AI Touch up auto-draft for 1:1 messages

When this setting is turned off, users on your contract won’t be able to configure any account license level settings for auto drafting.

The AI-Assisted Messages feature in LinkedIn Recruiter helps recruiters compose personalized messages to candidates using AI assistance. By enabling auto drafting for all users on your contract, this feature can save time and improve message quality by generating drafts a recruiter can edit before sending.

To enable or disable AI-assisted message auto drafting for all messages (single or bulk) at the contract level:

  1. Move your cursor over your profile picture at the top of your Recruiter homepage and select Product settings from the dropdown.

  2. Click Preferences under Company Settings on the left pane.

  3. Next to Enable AI message auto-draft, click Edit.

    • This setting applies to both single and bulk messages, including follow-ups and template touch-ups.
  4. Select On or Off.

  5. Click Save.
