Because Companies Hub shows metrics for member accounts by their current company listed on their profile, the information might differ from other reports and lists in Campaign Manager.
Campaign reporting dashboard - Differences in impressions and clicks numbers
For impressions and clicks, you may see differences between the numbers shown on Companies Hub and your campaign reporting dashboard. This is because the Companies Hub reports impressions and clicks based on member accounts that were impressed by or clicked on an ad and that are currently working at a specific company. The campaign reporting dashboard reports numbers based on all member accounts that were impressed by or clicked on an ad.
Examples of the reasons the numbers might differ include:
- If there isn’t a current employer listed on a profile, that member account’s clicks and impressions won’t appear on Companies Hub but will appear on the campaign reporting dashboard.
- If there’s more than one current company listed on a LinkedIn profile and both of those companies are included on Companies Hub, the impressions and clicks for that member account will be included in the impressions and click totals on both company rows. That means that your campaign reporting dashboard would have a lower click and impression number.

Uploaded company list for targeting - Differences in number of companies shown
If your ad set is targeting a company list you uploaded, you may see differences in the number of rows on your company list and on Companies Hub. Companies Hub shows all the companies that the member accounts currently have listed on their profile. For example:
- A member account may have a company listed on their LinkedIn profile that is on your company list and one that isn't on your uploaded list.
- Both will appear on Companies Hub, which will result in a different number of companies on your uploaded list than you'll see on Companies Hub.
