We are discontinuing InCareer, our local jobs app in China, by August 9, 2023. As of this date, LinkedIn Talent Solutions will no longer support recruiting or accessing insights on talent based on the Chinese Mainland, the “Have phone number” and “Overseas experience” features under search Spotlights which support recruiting on the Chinese Mainland will no longer be available at the same time. Recruiting employees based in China will continue to be able to use LinkedIn Talent Solutions (Recruiter, Talent Insights and Job Slots) to find and hire international talent, and access data and insights from our global professional community of more than 900 million members.

InCareer members who are also existing LinkedIn enterprise customers will be able to access LinkedIn.com and enterprise tools through their current accounts once InCareer has been discontinued. From August 9, 2023 onwards, new enterprise users will need to create a new LinkedIn account at www.linkedin.cn. InCareer members who are not customers of our B2B services will have their accounts deleted after the service is discontinued on August 9, 2023.

InCareer will be discontinued on August 9, 2023, and we will delete all InCareer data after that. You can request an export of your enterprise data by contacting LinkedIn enterprise support. If you already have a LinkedIn account, your account will continue to work as usual and be subject to LinkedIn's terms of service. It is recommended that customers save candidates you’ve engaged with to your projects so that you can export their information using the ‘Save to PDF’ or ‘Print Profiles’ feature.

Cancellation is only applicable for field subscription customers who specifically use LinkedIn Talent Solutions to recruit talent based on the Chinese Mainland, to fill Chinese Mainland-based positions, and where no other countries are targeted for the roles.  

Customers may request a cancellation of the remaining portion of their contract with LinkedIn to the extent that there’s a determination that your product needs cannot be met. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Given the limited impact on many of our products, our primary objective will be to work with you to see if our solutions can continue to meet your business needs.  

If we are unable to mutually agree on the future value of our products, we will work with you to appropriately credit your account. All requests for cancellation must be made prior to September 15, 2023.

For our global customers, there is no impact, and Job Wrapping will run as usual. Applicants based outside of the Chinese Mainland can continue to apply to these jobs. However, these jobs will remain inaccessible to people based on the Chinese Mainland.

As of August 9, 2023, LinkedIn Talent Solutions will no longer support recruiting or accessing insights on China-based talent. LinkedIn Talent Insights will be available, but insights and functionality will diminish over time. 

Yes. Admin access remains available for existing LinkedIn Career Pages (LCP) admins located on the Chinese Mainland. They will be able to edit, manage, and highlight their employer brand to professionals outside of China by logging in via www.linkedin.com/talent/home.
