Hirer responsiveness insights on jobs

Last updated: 2 weeks ago

As a job seeker on LinkedIn, you want to know which companies are verified and which hirers are most likely to respond. This information helps you manage your job search effectively and alleviates the anxiety of waiting for responses. LinkedIn provides insights on job posts that highlight companies actively engaging with candidates and their application response or review times.

Important to know

We’re gradually making this feature available, and you might not have access to it at this time.

Example insights you may see on jobs include:

  • Actively reviewing candidates: when the recruiter has reviewed one or more applications in the past two weeks
  • Review time is typically 1 week: the average review time for applicants that heard back in the past 30 days
  • Responses managed off LinkedIn: when the job application process is managed outside of LinkedIn (i.e., through an external ATS) the responsiveness data is unavailable

LinkedIn aims to empower job seekers with valuable information about typical response and application review times. These insights offer clear visibility into job authenticity and hirer activity, reducing uncertainty and increasing transparency. This enables job seekers to navigate the job market more effectively and confidently apply to opportunities they trust.

Important to know

While we strive to provide the most accurate responsiveness insights to help job seekers navigate the job market, responses are not guaranteed. Additionally, note that these insights do not appear on all jobs. If you do not see these insights on a job, that does not mean that the hirer has a low response or applicant review time.
