Delete a due date for recommended content in Learning

LinkedIn Learning allows admins to set a due date for any learning path, collection, custom content, or course recommended to your learners.

As an admin, you can also set or edit a due date from recommended content, or delete entirely the recommended content (see Related tasks section below).

Important to know

Admin functionality isn’t available within the Learning mobile app. To access Learning Management, please use a desktop device.

To delete a due date for content you've recommended to your learners:

  1. From Learning Management, click Reports, then select Recommendation history.

  2. Locate the content you'd like to remove a due date from and click the Content name.
  3. Click Share at the top right of the content page.
  4. From the dropddown that appears, select Recommend on LinkedIn Learning.
  5. Below Due Date, click Remove.
  6. If no due date is visible, click Add due date then Remove.
  7. Click Close to save the content with no due date.
Notes:
  • Learners aren't required by LinkedIn Learning to complete the courses by the due date.
  • You have access to reports on each recommended course. The reports provide details on how many learners have completed the course. (See Learn more section below.)
