The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled. Recently, Professor Ashish Nanda of Harvard Business School came to do exactly that for our consultants. There is a particular kind of learning that doesn't feel like learning at all. It feels like thinking, hard, honest, energizing thinking, with people who are genuinely in it with you. A select group of Zinnov leaders and consultants spent a day in Prof. Nanda's classroom in Zinnov's Bangalore office, and walked away with more than they came with. We dived into two case studies. Hundreds of questions. A conversation that kept finding new depth. Takeaways that stood out: - The best individual performers carry a particular tension as they grow. The instincts that made them brilliant at their craft need to evolve as they step into leadership. Recognizing that moment, and leaning into it, is where great careers are made. - The second idea was equally powerful. The organisations that truly endure are not the ones chasing the most. They are the ones who know exactly what they want to be extraordinary at and build everything around that clarity. The room brought energy. Professor Nanda brought direction. Together, something genuinely valuable happened. This is the Zinnov way of building its people. And we are just getting started. India's third act - Scaling AI at population scale Mobile. UPI. IT services. India often enters after the first wave, scales faster than anyone expects, and reshapes the economics for the rest of the world. AI is now following the same script: the models were built elsewhere, but India is already one of the world’s largest and deepest AI adoption markets. Act 3 is where it gets interesting. Indian startups are building for real sectors, GCCs are plugging into that capability, and underneath it all sits digital public infrastructure that no other market can shortcut. India has always been where technology finds population scale. AI will be no different. It was an honour to partner with OpenAI and Z47 to document the state of AI in India. Thanks to the exceptional Zinnov team!

Nilesh Thakker will join the GCC panel at The Economic Times Future of Knowledge Work Summit in Bengaluru on 17 June, alongside leaders discussing the changing role of GCCs in the global enterprise. India’s GCC ecosystem has spent decades building institutional capability at scale. As technology reshapes the flow of knowledge work, the conversation is increasingly shifting toward how centres deepen enterprise ownership, shape strategic decisions, and evolve beyond traditional operating mandates. At Zinnov, we believe the centres that continue to move up the value chain - faster than the work beneath them gets automated - will define the next decade of the ecosystem. In our conversations with 100+ enterprise CXOs, nearly 2 in 3 mature adopters said they are already allocating more than 10% of their software budgets to AI, with spend increasingly shifting away from outsourcing and legacy software. That level of investment is starting to change how enterprises think about AI itself. The companies moving ahead are no longer treating AI as an add-on to existing workflows. They are redesigning workflows around AI. More in the article below. ⬇️ The detailed report, created in collaboration with OpenAI and Z47, can be accessed here: https://lnkd.in/gmS6eygn Vikram Vaidyanathan, Ashwin Kannan, Aniket Niranjan Mishra, Yashasvi Madhogaria, Vineet Kanabar, Madhavi Varanasi, Thomas Jeng, Pragya Misra, Nitika Goel (She/Her), Sidhant R., Rajat Kohli, Atul Srivastava, Ridhi Kalra Madan, Shradha Dutta #IndiaAI #EnterpriseAI #AITransformation

Over the last six days, Southwest Airlines opened its GCC in Hyderabad, isolved expanded its GCC presence in Hyderabad, and Vista Equity Partners-backed Amtech Software launched its center in Bengaluru. Three enterprises. Three distinct mandates. One unmistakable signal: the India GCC story has entered a different phase. What once unfolded over quarters is now measured in days. Not because the decisions are lighter, but because the conviction behind them is stronger. For us at Zinnov, this milestone reflects something built over time, operational discipline, institutional knowledge, and 220+ GCC journeys helping global enterprises build in India, and increasingly, for the world. To the leaders who trusted us to help build what comes next — thank you. #poweredbyzinnov #GCC #GlobalCapabilityCenters #Zinnov

Sidhant R., President, Zinnov, along with Ashwin Kannan, Vice President, Z47, joined Sudhi Sachdev on AIM to discuss what separates enterprises experimenting with AI from those creating real value from it. The companies moving ahead are not forcing AI adoption top-down. They are enabling teams to discover and scale use cases organically before governance layers come in. As Sidhant explains, the difference between adoption and transformation is increasingly becoming a leadership and operating model question, not just a technology one. AI is reshaping the economics of GCC talent. As compensation, productivity expectations, and team structures continue to diverge around critical capabilities, GCCs are being pushed to rethink how talent is built, rewarded, and deployed. Nitika Goel (She/Her) was recently featured in The Times Of India discussing how these shifts are redefining India’s GCC operating model. 1 in 20 American workers use isolved on payday. That's what trust at scale looks like. isolved has built that for over 200,000 businesses across the US. And now, Hyderabad is where they build what's next. Product engineering, AI, platform development, payroll, and tax processing — the work that will shape how millions of people experience work itself. There are a few cities in the world with the talent and ambition to carry that. Hyderabad is one of them. Proud to have been part of this journey. Congratulations to Pragya Gupta, Amy Mosher, Yogesh More, and the entire isolved team. The best is ahead. #PoweredByZinnov Vallabi A, Government of Telangana, Digital Media Telangana Pari Natarajan, Nilesh Thakker, Nitika Goel (She/Her), Amita Goyal, Karthik Padmanabhan, Ravi Darbha, Hani Mukhey, Saurabh Mehta, Denny Joseph, Komal Shah, Ashveen Pai, Surya Naveen, Lavina Rodrigues, Prutha Patil, Rahul Pande, Sourabh Karodi, Devgupt Upendra Kumar, Somasundar Konduri, SPHR(i) #GCC #isolved #Hyderabad

The biggest mistake global companies make is assuming trust comes from reporting structures. Trust is earned when teams understand the business deeply enough to challenge assumptions, solve problems before they’re assigned, and think beyond delivery timelines. That idea sits at the heart of the latest episode of GCCs Unfiltered, where Nitika Goel (She/Her) sits down with Ankur Mittal, Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, and Managing Director of Lowe's India, to unpack how one of the world’s largest home improvement retailers built teams that understand business outcomes as deeply as they understand technology. With over two decades in technology leadership, Ankur shares why functional ownership, articulation, curiosity, and risk-taking are becoming the real differentiators in modern global enterprises. A conversation on influence, leadership, and what it really takes to earn a seat at the table. 🎧 Tune in now: https://lnkd.in/gkcysYga #gccsunfiltered #lowes #zinnovpodcast #gccs
