Everyone talks about AI security. Almost no one audits the iPhone using it. We lock down laptops. We write policies. We review models. We talk about risk all day. Then mobile gets a free pass. Same AI tools. Same sensitive data. Tiny screen. Big blind spot. I have seen teams secure everything around AI. Not the phone in someone’s hand. MagenQ, from Tx Systems Inc. and AirID GmbH, helps solve this. Here is why MagenQ matters: → It brings CAC/PIV authentication to iPhone → It closes a gap many teams ignore → It makes mobile access harder to fake, steal, or wing Boring security stuff? Yep. Still important. Because AI security means very little when the device using AI is wide open. The model is not always the weak point. Many times, the endpoint is. Secure the model. Secure the phone too. Start there. If mobile AI security sits on your list, take a closer look at MagenQ.

  • OpenAI introduces Passkeys for ChatGPT! The company launched Advanced Account Security, an opt-in mode that removes passwords and requires passkeys or physical security keys for login. If you want to protect your Chat history, we have a variety of compatible passkeys that we would recommend over YubiKeys. Read more on the launch of Advanced Account Security and see if you should be switching your login method to passkeys too: https://lnkd.in/giHkSWUp #ChatGPT #OpenAI #Passkeys #DigitalSecurity

  • The FIDO Alliance is developing standards for trusted AI Agent Interactions These efforts aim to define trusted mechanisms for how AI agents authenticate, act, and transact on behalf of users. As AI-powered agents become mainstream, interactions performed on behalf of users must be simple and trusted. However, today’s authentication and authorization models were designed for direct human interaction, not delegated, agent-initiated actions. Users may be required to share credentials, while service providers lack reliable, interoperable ways to verify user intent – including who authorized an action, under what conditions, and with what limits. To read more from the FIDO Alliance, check out their blog post: https://lnkd.in/gJzB3Vm6 #AgenticAI #FutureofAI #AIStandards

  • Something interesting is happening in enterprise IT right now... Devices are changing faster than infrastructure. Laptops → USB-C Tablets → USB-C But a lot of secure workstations and docks → still USB-A. For professionals who rely on CAC authentication, this creates an awkward reality: One reader doesn’t work everywhere. So people end up carrying: • multiple readers • loose adapters • or both Not a huge problem… But it’s a daily friction point across government and enterprise environments. We recently introduced a solution, the Universal CAC Adapter Clip, to simplify the transition between USB types across devices. You can learn more at: https://lnkd.in/gtea8U5m Now here's the bigger question: 👉 How long do you think USB-A will realistically remain in enterprise environments? Would love to hear what people in IT are seeing. #Cybersecurity #EnterpriseIT #IdentitySecurity

  • To us, the 2026 FIDO Alliance State of Passkeys Report makes one thing clear: we are no longer talking about the future of authentication, we’re living in it. The headline statistic from the report says everything: 🔑 More than 5 billion passkeys are now actively in use worldwide. That scale matters because it signals something bigger than adoption, it signals normalization. Consumers are no longer “testing” passkeys. Enterprises are no longer “evaluating” them. The authentication ecosystem has crossed an inflection point where passkeys are becoming the default expectation for secure digital access. 75% of those surveyed have established passkey protection on an online account. Have you? For more of our take aways from the report, check out our blog post at: https://lnkd.in/gGztd3dc #Passkeys #DigitalSecurity #Authentication

  • Vibe Coding Is Causing ‘Thousands’ of Data Security Vulnerabilities.. If you're unfamiliar with "Vibe Coding", it's essentially when someone relies on AI to create a software application. People without developer training now have access to tools that can build websites and apps. The big catch? Research claims approximately 5,000 vibe-coded web apps had ‘virtually no security.’ AI tools don’t prioritize security unless explicitly instructed to...
