Sunday morning. 6:50 AM. Sitting in an airport headed into hospital cutover #57, reflecting on this profession and the people who make it possible. What stands out most isn't the presentations, milestones, or go-lives. It's the commitment of the team behind them. The best consultants never really stop working on a client's challenge. There is a constant focus on finding a better answer, reducing risk, and helping clients achieve their goals. Over the past two years, as we've grown Thrivence Consulting, I've become even more appreciative of the sacrifices our team makes. Time away from family. Early mornings. Late nights. Weekend travel. All in service of helping our clients navigate important moments and execute their vision. That level of commitment is humbling, and the trust our clients place in us is something we never take for granted. Grateful for the team, grateful for our clients, and grateful for the opportunity to do meaningful work alongside both. To my team, and their families, the sacrafice doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you. 🙏🏻

And that's a wrap on the AI Accelerator! Congratulations to the amazing group of leaders who showed up, leaned in, and put real plans into motion. That said, this is just the beginning. The real impact comes from what happens next: how these ideas are implemented, tested, and scaled inside your organizations. We’re excited to see what each of you builds over the next 90 days. A big thank you to the incredible contributors and partners who helped shape the experience and bring the workshop to life: Bob Higgins - for always bringing the energy, encouragement, and executive wisdom Gary McClure - for always bringing excellence in facilitation, strategy, and challenging the group to think outside the box Jules White - for truly helping the group think differently about AI Carla Worthey PhD, MBA, SPHR, PCC - for making talent strategy both practical and actionable Justin Graham - for giving us an attainable framework for innovation and inspiring the group to consider the art of the possible Jason Shelton - for guiding everyone through best-in-class data practices, AI readiness, and practical agent builds Laine Hiera - for sharing your unique and valuable perspective with the group Kristin Worley Beamer - for your fantastic demo! • Today we remember the men and women who gave everything in service to something bigger than themselves. Memorial Day is a reminder that freedom, opportunity, and the lives we get to build were paid for through extraordinary sacrifice. Grateful for those who served, those we’ve lost, and the families who continue to carry that legacy forward.

This Memorial Day weekend, I want to pause and thank all of the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. Their courage and commitment are the reason we enjoy the freedoms we have today. I especially think about my grandfather this weekend, who at just 18 years old drove a tank under General Patton during World War II. The bravery, resilience, and sacrifice of that generation is difficult to fully comprehend, and I’m incredibly proud of his service and legacy. Thank you to all who have served and to the families who have sacrificed alongside them. We remember and honor you today. #MemorialDay #HonorAndRemember #Veterans #WWII #Leadership #Service

  • Day 1 of the AI Accelerator is in the books! Today was full of rich conversations, practical ideas, and leaders working through what AI adoption actually looks like inside their firms. One of the best parts of the day is seeing leaders openly share challenges, opportunities, and lessons learned with each other. That level of collaboration is rare and valuable. Big thanks to everyone who joined us at Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management and helped make the conversations meaningful. Looking forward to building on the momentum tomorrow as we move from strategy into practical action plans. #ArtificialIntelligence #AEC #Leadership #Innovation #DigitalTransformation #Nashville

  • “The soul of Nashville does not disappear overnight. It contracts when confidence declines.” The article from our team member, Ralph Schulz, explores the connection between growth, infrastructure, leadership, and the collaborative spirit that has long made Nashville unique. More importantly, it raises a timely question for all of us: can a city continue to grow and scale without becoming more transactional, disconnected, and less human in the process? Really proud to see Ralph Schulz featured in the Nashville Business Journal leading the topics that feel increasingly important as Nashville continues to grow. #growth #nashville #leadership

Curiosity, when given confidence, leads to exploration. It serves as the backbone of STEM education, shapes the career paths we choose, and, as we learned last night, can define the future of space exploration. At yesterday’s STEM Innovation Awards, guests were inspired by keynote speaker Dr. Jeannette Wolak Luna. Her journey from sending a hand-written letter to NASA as a child, to now joining their science team for the 2028 Artemis moon-landing mission was a powerful example of where curiosity can lead. The evening also reminded us of the transformative power of STEM education across generations, from Ralph Schulz’s lasting impact on science learning in Nashville, to Herbert Brown’s commitment to strengthening our community, to Shanna Jackson, Ed.D.’s work preparing tomorrow’s leaders. We were also proud to recognize Adventure Science Center’s own Matt Stapleton for his creativity and dedication to creating hands-on science experiences that inspire curiosity within our walls every day. Thank you to all who joined us in celebrating the individuals and partnerships shaping the future of STEM in Middle Tennessee. Finally, we are deeply grateful for the support of Pinnacle Financial Partners, Delta Dental of Tennessee, HCA Healthcare, Thrivence Consulting, and Turner Construction Company. Without their support, this celebration would not have been possible. #AdventureScienceCenter #STEMInnovation #CommunityPartners

  • Last night, it was an honor to celebrate our team member, Ralph Schulz, as he received the Visionary Award at the STEM Innovation Awards hosted by Adventure Science Center. This award recognizes an individual whose leadership and forward-thinking vision have significantly advanced STEM opportunities within our community, and few people embody that better than Ralph. For decades, Ralph has helped shape the future of Nashville through civic leadership, collaboration, education, and economic growth. What makes his impact so meaningful is not just the vision he carries, but the way he brings people together to move ideas forward. We’re grateful to have him on our team at Thrivence and excited to continue building alongside leaders who care deeply about the future of our communities. Congratulations, Ralph, this recognition is incredibly well deserved!

I am extremely proud of the impact our Thrivence Consulting team is helping drive alongside the New Mexico Corrections Department and NaphCare, Inc., through the 1115 Medicaid Waiver initiative. Building Revenue Cycle and Medicaid billing capabilities within the corrections environment is new territory for many organizations and brings significant operational, technology, and workflow challenges. Despite the complexity, this program represents an important step forward in expanding access to care, improving continuity of services, and supporting stronger reentry outcomes for individuals transitioning back into the community. As we prepare for go-live next month, thank you to our partners across NMCD, NaphCare, Modul, and Strivant Health for the collaboration and commitment behind this effort. Finally, a special thank you to Percy Pitzer and his Creative Corrections team who believe in this reform and supporting these justice involved patients through transformation projects such as these.
