  • It's been an incredible privilege to serve the therapist community, and we're thrilled to partner with the Grow Therapy team to make this resource even more accessible to the clinical community! 💛

The Tenor Therapy team has officially joined Grow! Olivia Chen, Katie Witkop, Paul Salvatore, and team have built an incredible company to support providers, and we feel fortunate to have found each other. Beyond their technological ability, what stood out as we got to know each other was their mission alignment. Tenor was founded after Olivia left tech to pursue her dream of becoming a therapist. In her practice, she was frustrated by the tools at hand, and started Tenor to design a better system using the latest AI technologies, one that cut back on tedious work and offered real insights and support. In joining forces, we are putting our resources behind scaling their vision to 26,000 active Grow clinicians. Together, we’re pushing on two priorities: -First, make our service more personalized. From matching, to care, to between-session support, we have the opportunity to better serve clients based on their unique circumstances -Second, make care more sustainable for providers. Move documentation from after-hours catch-up work and into the flow of care. And build on that foundation with a co-pilot that surfaces practical takeaways, grounded in each provider's style and each client’s needs We’re thrilled to run at this opportunity together, and for what’s to come!

  • Being a good therapist doesn’t mean being endlessly available 🥲 Many clients are arriving to sessions carrying more lately and as a result, many therapists are quietly doing the same. It can start to feel like being a “good” therapist means: • holding extra time • answering one more message • staying a little longer • carrying what doesn’t fully belong to you But progress doesn’t come from depletion. And presence doesn’t require ignoring your own needs. Good quality therapy is built on sustainable care: clear boundaries, reflective pauses, and support systems that help you think, not just respond. This is something we think about often at Tenor: how tools, reflection, and structure can support your work without asking you to give more of yourself than you have. We'd love to hear what helps you protect your capacity while staying connected to your clients 💛 and if you needed this reminder, consider saving it to come back to when you need a moment. #Therapist #MentalHealth #MentalHealthProviders

📝 Introducing Worksheet Wednesdays We created the worksheet generator because “this worksheet will just have to do” isn’t good enough for us. Every Wednesday, we’ll share an example of a worksheet generated by Tenor. Worksheets made by Tenor are fully customizable and designed to adapt to the real humans sitting in front of you, not the “average client.” Why customized worksheets matter: 👕 One-size-fits-all rarely fits: tailored language and focus increase relevance and engagement. 🧠 Customization preserves clinical nuance: you meet clients where they are — culturally, developmentally, and emotionally — and your interventions should too. Ready to see it in action? 💭 Here's our prompt: Generate a worksheet on the 5 V’s of grief for a 37-year-old Hispanic female navigating complex grief. 📝 What Tenor generated: https://lnkd.in/ehaAmhsc Use them as-is or tweak them to spark something new in session. Now, go try it yourself and let us know what you think! #WorksheetGenerator #TherapyResources #TherapyWorksheets #AIforTherapists

  • ✨ One week in, and we’re already seeing meaningful impact. ✨ Last week, we launched Tenor’s new Worksheet Generator, a feature built to support clinicians in delivering more personalized, clinically grounded care. Just 7 days later, the early data tells a powerful story about how therapists are using it in real practice. In one week: 📝 147 worksheets saved 📝 91 worksheets generated with client-specific clinical context 📝 56 created for general or future use What stands out most? 👉 Over 60% of worksheets were created with clinical context, meaning therapists are actively tailoring interventions to individual clients—not just pulling generic handouts. 🛋️ How clinicians are engaging: Our two highest users each created 13 worksheets, supporting 5 and 6 unique clients respectively This tells us the feature is doing what it was designed to do: ✅ Support therapist clinical judgment ✅ Enable more customized, thoughtful interventions ✅ Ultimately enhance the client experience ✅ Reduce prep time We’re excited to keep learning from how clinicians use this tool—and to keep building features that support you so you can focus on what matters most: you, and your clients 💛 #TherapyWorksheets #WorksheetGenerator #AIforTherapists

  • We are building this platform for the therapist community, and user feedback like this from Hannah Weisman, PhD help us stay grounded, and intentional. Looking forward to all of the resources and features that we will share with the therapist community this year 💛

What's the exit strategy for AI medical scribe companies? I've been thinking about this as I watch these companies multiply and grow, especially those not going the enterprise/B2B route. My current count is 26 D2C AI scribe companies targeting therapists — and I’m sure I’m missing some. As far as I can tell, there are 3 potential pathways for these D2C companies: 1️⃣ Evolving into an Electronic Health Record (EHR) The most annoying thing for me personally as a user of AI scribes is the copy/paste process into my EHR SimplePractice. None of them seem capable of pasting bold headings and bullet points correctly. For this reason alone, I'd use SimplePractice's embedded AI tool if my sole goal was saving time on notes. Companies like Upheal and Blueprint see the writing on the wall: existing EHRs entering the market with their own native AI tools and eager user base. They're hoping to win therapists and other clinicians over by beating the dominant EHRs to the full capabilities of AI, creating other efficiencies and value as they grow into full-fledged EHRs. I imagine most VC-backed companies that started as AI scribes are getting pressure to take this kind of big swing. 2️⃣ Acquisition by an existing EHR or other therapy-facing service I can't imagine any company has ruled out this path, but the competition will be fierce. Major therapist-facing EHRs are experimenting with building their own tools and debating whether to buy or build or some combination of the two. I do wonder if we’ll see more partnerships like Alma and Upheal as existing platforms test the amount of value AI scribe tools bring to their users. 3️⃣ Growing into a sustainable business by providing so much value that therapists pay for the tool in addition to an EHR This route may look like a smaller swing, but slow and steady growth within a niche market might win with enough user research and nimble product development. Tenor Therapy is a potential example of this route, developing the best AI "supervision" and client-facing session summaries of the tools I've tested. My bet: Companies that have raised significant funding or want to raise more will aim for Path 1; it has the biggest potential payoff for investors. But there will be companies that succeed long-term on Path 3 who deeply understand what therapists actually need (and maybe get acquired or merge down the line). For those building or using these tools: which path do you think makes the most sense? Are there other exit/growth strategies I'm not seeing? #AI #healthcare #therapy

  • Yesterday was Blue Monday, the most depressing day of the year. Whether or not the label resonates, many clients (and clinicians) are feeling a little heavier this time of year. ❄️ Short days. Post-holiday letdown. Winter fatigue. World stress. It all adds up. If you’re looking for evidence-based, clinically sound ways to support clients navigating low mood, burnout, or emotional overwhelm, we pulled together something you might find useful. Our Clinical Assistant generated practical insights and intervention ideas you can bring directly into session. Always grounded in real research and easy to adapt to your clinical style. ➡️ https://lnkd.in/e4RHVBbB Remember: You don’t have to fix the heaviness. Sometimes simply naming it and sitting with it is the work 💛

  • Many therapists are holding a little extra space today, especially in sessions happening on MLK Day 🤎 If you’re looking for culturally responsive, evidence-based interventions or thoughtful conversation prompts to support clients today, we’ve got you covered. We asked our Clinical Assistant to pull together some tangible, session-ready tools you can use right away. Take a look and let us know what resonates 🧠 ➡️ https://lnkd.in/e5fF2-Qn #AItools #Mentalhealth #TherapyResources #ClinicalTools
