About us
Silver Circuits™ by Teacher Trails™ is the only game-based cybersecurity curriculum designed specifically for adults 55+ and the activity directors, recreation therapists, and life enrichment coordinators who serve them. Built by a National Board Certified Teacher with a UW Professional Certificate in Cybersecurity Risk Management and a team with 24 years of U.S. Navy service and a Doctorate in Business Administration — Silver Circuits™ combines real educational expertise with genuine personal motivation. We watched family members fall victim to the very scams we now teach seniors to recognize. That experience drives everything we build. Eight complete lessons across two levels — Bright Wires™ and Copper Keys™ — covering internet safety, scam identification, AI voice cloning, grandparent scams, password security, phone safety, public Wi-Fi, and software updates. After 26 years in the classroom, a National Board Teaching Certification, and a Professional Certificate in Cybersecurity Risk Management from the University of Washington, I've become increasingly aware of a growing crisis facing older adults. Technology is advancing rapidly — but millions of seniors are being left behind. Especially when it comes to cybersecurity, scams, passwords, phone safety, and digital confidence.
