Big Heart, Bold Impact. Throughout May, Team Target continued showing up in neighborhoods across the country, as part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening communities through local partnerships and community-led solutions that create growth and opportunity for all. We kept the momentum going with our Bullseye Builds with Community program — bringing our signature community activation to Denver and Las Vegas. On May 21, more than 100 Target team members in each city joined local partners to roll up their sleeves and reimagine spaces for students and educators, all brought to life through Target’s style and design expertise. Beyond Bullseye Builds, we supported communities across the country — from helping strengthen leadership pathways at the Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) conference in New York and celebrating more than 50 Target Scholars at the UNCF Student Leadership Conference, to supporting emerging entrepreneurs through partnerships with AURI and NEON Collective Kitchens, and partnering with Shipt on Garden Grants for organizations cultivating stronger neighborhoods nationwide. 11 years of meaning and growth. Thank you Christina for your part in making us greater. #TeamTarget #StoreLeadership #ContinuedGrowth
11 years, this has been my life. At 21 years old I started as an ETL-HR in the exact building I’m running now. 11 years, I met my husband at this store, we’ve had two beautiful children and continue to give them the best life possible. 11 years, I’ve promoted 15 Team Members to Team Leaders, 8 Team Leaders to Executive Team Leaders and 1 Executive Team Leader to Store Director. 11 years, I’ve run a 38M dollar building, a 45M dollar building and a 65M dollar building. 11 years, and every day I turn my key to open the door to my building I still think, wow, I really love my job.

From Intern to Executive Team Leader: Cameron’s Target Journey Ahead of intern season starting in just a few weeks, we recently caught up with Cameron, a former Target Store Executive Intern turned Executive Team Leader (ETL), to reflect on her journey and the experiences that shaped her leadership style along the way. We asked Cameron: What’s one experience from your internship that still impacts how you lead today? Cameron shared that one of her most memorable experiences during her internship was participating in a volunteer day. It was one of her first events with Target, and it gave her a firsthand look at Target's community-first culture. Next, we wanted to know the advice she would give future store interns. For the Class of 2026 and beyond, Cameron’s advice is simple: stay curious. Ask as many questions as possible, be open to new experiences and don’t be afraid to be yourself. Growth comes from leaning into opportunities and learning along the way. How does Cameron describe Target’s culture? Cameron shared that Target’s culture is unique in its “Inclusive, collaborative, and understanding atmosphere.” Throughout her internship and now as an ETL, she’s felt supported both professionally and personally. Cameron emphasized to us how leaders genuinely care about life outside of work and create an environment where teams can succeed together. Now, working in HR, she strives to create that same supportive experience for her own team members. We know that our team members are more than just how they show up at work. Outside of work, Cameron enjoys spending time with family and loved ones, even though many live outside the area. She also prioritizes wellness through tennis, walks and making time to recharge and stay connected with the people who matter most. Thank you, Cameron, for sharing your story and leadership journey with us. #TeamTarget #LeadershipJourney #LifeAtTarget

When it comes to retail touchpoints, what fits that description better than the shopping cart? For the past six years Target’s store team has been reimagining and testing the newest iteration of our shopping cart. Now it’s rolling out to stores across the country — making our guests first touchpoint with our brand even easier to use and elevating their in-store experience. Designed with busy families in mind, the Series 3 All Plastic Cart (APC): -Steers smoother, thanks to it’s all plastic frame and ergonomic handles -Sits comfier, with a deeper child seat and enlarged cup holders for snacks, Starbucks or sippy cups -Holds more, for guests who are buying in bulk They’re also designed with our team members in mind. Easier to put together, easier to repair, and sturdy so repairs and replacements won’t be as frequent. Check out the link to learn more about the guest-first design process behind this cart, and a deeper dive into the ways we’re reimagining every touchpoint that makes our stores easy, inspiring and friendly for guests: https://lnkd.in/eysVJY4g #WeAreTarget #TeamTarget
