The resignation email is always polite. "I've accepted an opportunity that aligns better with my growth." No drama. No complaints. Just another "regrettable loss" logged into the system. But here's the uncomfortable truth: people don't quit on bad days. They quit after too many days of feeling invisible. By the time they sit down for the exit interview, they've already left emotionally, and they're far too cautious to tell you the real reason. So we're asking you instead. When your best people walk, what's actually driving it? 👇 Vote below and then tell us in the comments what your exit interviews never surface.

Healthcare didn't wait for the talent crisis to fix itself. It reinvented the rules. Waiting periods for benefits. Brutal scheduling. Burnout baked into the job description. These weren't just healthcare problems they were warnings. And the industry took them seriously. In this piece for TalentCulture, Garrett Norman breaks down how healthcare's workforce reckoning produced a playbook every industry should be studying right now: day-one benefits, flexible staffing models, faster pay cycles, and genuine investment in professional development. Your sector may not be dealing with nursing shortages. But the underlying forces demand outpacing supply, workers walking away, the old system cracking sound familiar, don't they? Read it. Then ask yourself: what are you waiting for? 👉 https://lnkd.in/dAMNpQ5Q #TalentRetention #WorkforcePlanning #HR #FutureOfWork #EmployeeExperience #Healthcare #TalentCulture

30% turnover. Exit interviews echo the same themes. Exhaustion. No direction. Feeling unseen. Sound familiar? In his latest piece for TalentCulture, Dr. Mahmood Ahmed Khan, Founder of Global HR Management Services and 22-year HR veteran, shares how one organization turned a retention crisis into a full cultural reinvention. And it started with a counterintuitive move: pause. The data uncovered something most leaders assume wrong: ➡️ Nearly 75% of departing employees cited career stagnation — not pay ➡️ Managerial behavior ranked as the #2 driver of exits ➡️ One manager reduced attrition from 45% → 12% in two quarters through coaching alone The takeaway? Replacing people without understanding why they leave is just institutionalizing failure. 👇 https://lnkd.in/gpgexBX9 #EmployeeRetention #HRStrategy #WorkCulture #PeopleLeaders #TalentCulture #Leadership #EmployeeEngagement #FutureOfWork

AI is changing how companies work. But is it changing how companies lead? In her latest piece for TalentCulture, People & Culture Director Camila Paiva makes a compelling case: the organizations that will scale in the age of AI aren't the ones with the most tools, but they're the ones with the most clarity. Her take cuts straight to the real risk of rapid growth: not technology gaps, but leadership gaps. When people don't understand the direction, they fill the silence with fear, assumptions, and resistance. A few things that stuck with us: ➡️ 54% of CHROs say current communication methods fail to engage employees during change (Gartner, 2025) ➡️ Companies with above-average change adoption grow revenue 2x faster ➡️ Managers account for 70% of the variation in employee engagement (Gallup) Culture isn't a values poster. It's what guides behavior when there are no easy answers. The latest WorkTrends episode is live, and it's a must-listen if you're building, leading, or investing in HR tech products right now. Host Meghan M. Biro sat down with Shrikant Pattathil of Harbinger Group to tackle the conversation that happens in every product roadmap meeting but rarely comes up out loud: what happens when you build AI on top of a broken data infrastructure? For HR tech founders and product leaders, the implications are real: → The platform vs. point solution debate is shifting, and it affects how buyers evaluate your product. → Data connectivity isn't a backend problem. It's a product differentiator. → The market is moving from humans using AI tools to humans supervising AI systems, and the products built for that future look different Enterprise HR leaders are grappling with this, too, but who can actually solve it? That's you. Give it a listen and tell us how your team is thinking about data infrastructure as an AI readiness problem. 👇 https://lnkd.in/eyH8MiKX #WorkTrends #HRTransformation #HRStrategy #AIinHR

Excited to share my latest article published by TalentCulture: “Building a Scalable Culture in the Age of AI and Rapid Growth” One thing I strongly believe after years in high-growth environments: Companies do not scale because they add more process. They scale because they improve the quality of decisions, leadership and execution as complexity grows. In the age of AI, culture is no longer only a People topic. It is a business performance topic. Thank you TalentCulture 🚀 https://lnkd.in/d2sEZ2eS

Here's a question that should be keeping HR tech product leaders up at night. Everyone's racing to embed AI into their platforms. The roadmaps are full. The demos look great. But there's a foundational problem that's easy to overlook in the build cycle: does the underlying employee data actually support what the AI is being asked to do? Because AI layered on top of disconnected, siloed data doesn't deliver better outcomes for users. It gives them faster access to the wrong ones, and they'll blame the product. Our next WorkTrends episode gets into exactly this. If you're building in the HR tech space, you won't want to miss it. If you're registering for SAP Sapphire this week, put this session at the top of your list. 📍 Keynote: "Build Connection and Growth with New SAP SuccessFactors Solutions." 🗓 May 13 | 10:30–11:15 a.m. EDT 🎤 Dan Beck & Lara Albert, featuring speakers from Starbucks and Toyota This is the conversation HR leaders have been waiting for. Disconnected people data. HR strategy that doesn't quite sync with business priorities. Decisions made without the full picture. These aren't edge cases; they're some of the most common challenges we hear about from this community every single week. SAP SuccessFactors is building toward a genuinely integrated experience: people, skills, processes, and real-time insights working together with AI that actually helps leaders act on what they're seeing. And hearing how Starbucks and Toyota are making it work at scale? That's the kind of proof point that matters.
