Sydney Tse, from Bayonne, New Jersey, sat in the audience at the Junior Officer Training Symposium (JOTS) hosted by Vice Adm. Brendan McLane, commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNSP). As the auxiliaries officer assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20), Tse was working on coordinating between her ship’s wardroom and the wardroom of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) to provide maintenance availability training to their junior officers.
