Strengthening international bonds. 🇸🇷 🇬🇾 🇹🇹 🇬🇩 Delegations consisting of government and military leaders from Suriname, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and Grenada were hosted aboard the deployed aircraft carrier and given the opportunity to observe shipboard operations and capabilities, including flight operations.

Building stronger dunes to protect our mission.💪🌊 Over 75 volunteers from NAS Oceana, Dam Neck Annex, and NSA Portsmouth recently teamed up to help clean and build up the installation’s coastline. Over two days, volunteers cleared beach debris and placed over 500 recycled trees along Dam Neck Annex’s dunes. These trees will catch sand and build the dunes taller, which helps combat coastal erosion, protecting critical infrastructure and federally protected wildlife.
