SpaceWERX has awarded a $4 million Tactical Funding Increase (TACFI) contract to TrustPoint to support the demonstration of an alternative positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) capability designed to operate in environments where GPS may be degraded or denied. 🛰️ The effort will evaluate the use of low-Earth orbit satellites and C-band signals to provide resilient PNT services for potential United States Space Force applications. The project includes a planned satellite-and-ground demonstration within 12 months and is intended to help mature the technology and assess its potential utility for national security missions. SpaceWERX, in collaboration with The Space Rapid Capabilities Office Capabilities Office, awarded three SBIR contracts—each valued at $3 million—to Assurance Technology Corp., Raptor Dynamix, and Innovative Signal Analysis.
