Some of our team members recently spent an inspiring day empowering the next generation of leaders in Oradea, Romania. They participated in "The World In Her Words," an event hosted by Fundatia Life Tineret Oradea in collaboration with the Universitatea din Oradea Alumni Association. As a pillar of our community dedicated to youth empowerment and non-formal education, Fundația Life Tineret helps build a vital bridge between formal schooling and the "real world." Our team shared their professional journeys and "soft skills" insights with the young participants, discussing everything from career bravery to finding balance. We are so proud of our team members who lead by example and empower the next generation of leaders.

In recognition of #GlobalRecyclingDay, we’re highlighting a unique initiative from our Riverside East team in Penang, Malaysia, who are repurposing retired production smocks into durable, reusable bags! ♻️ Instead of letting these textiles reach the end of their life, they're giving them a second purpose on the production floor. Since implementing this action, the site has experienced a 30% reduction in new plastic bag usage. This is truly reflective of our Innovating Responsibly value. Our team at the Penang Design Center in Malaysia recently held its annual All Stars’ Night. It was a fantastic evening dedicated to the team's hard work and the many hidden talents they have outside of their Engineering capabilities. Our team in Romania recently visited the Universitatea din Oradea for an inspiring workshop with Robotics Championship. We loved showing these tech-passionate students how robotics concepts translate into real-world engineering and manufacturing solutions at Plexus. We also shared more about our internship and training programs designed to jumpstart their careers. We're proud to build bridges between the classroom and industry to ensure the communities where we work continue to thrive as hubs for talent.

We are incredibly proud of Heather Beresford, Sr. Vice President – Sustaining Services, for her outstanding performance in the recent Just Dance competition. The event paired community leaders with professional dancers to fundraise for Wisconsin non-profits, and through months of spirited activities, Heather raised over $26,000 for the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, where she serves as the Board Chair. Heather’s dedication is a beautiful testament to the power of purpose-driven community leaders, businesses and non-profits coming together to strengthen the fabric of our communities.
